I've loved costume jewelry since I was a kid and started collecting in earnest when I was 16; am 48 now. My collection is primarily vintage - Schreiner, Dior, Sherman, Mexican and Scandinavian (mostly sterling, so not really costume).

I don't buy much new costume but when I do, I like the Banana Republic sterling pieces; and anything cheap and cheerful that's on trend but you know you don't want to invest a lot of money in. And I happily mix costume with real.
