bal city and my givenchy melancholia studded. although i often change the strap of the melancholia studded to a plain black strap from my other bag due to the heaviness of the strap.
so i walk daily with the plain light strap and put the studded on evenings out

My favorite designer bag for travel is a Prada Vitello Daino tote bought at the Prada outlet in Sunrise, FL. It was bought on vacation and immediately became a travel bag! It fits a lot, is durable, is a great sunshine-y color that goes with everything, has two outside zip pockets and a detachable shoulder strap. I would use it for everyday but it's a little big for what I usually carry. I'd love to get another in blue or black!

Here is how I usually travel : One of my BVs inside my brown LePilage and my faithful TUMI roller wheels. At SFO airport yesterday -

That's what I do except my version of your LePilage is a dept store storm proof bag (no logo/no writing) and my roller is DVF. Sometimes you need to make you valuable bags disappear ;)

Most BVs don't have rigid corners that damage or handles that don't mind folding a little and their lack of hardware means their lighter to carry.

Okay, back from my first holiday trip - off to the 2nd one on Sunday. :smile1: It'll be a day cruise to Stockholm and I'll be taking my Le Pliage Cuir M in Fuchsia, plus a pink chain strap Love Moschino flap bag for the evenings. I think I might be a lazy ***** and stuff my clothes into le BF's trolley so I don't have to carry a larger bag...

We'll be heading out to my Mum's for our 3rd and final trip at the end of the week, and that's going to be something else. I'm going to pick up my new Longchamp Roseau on the way so that'll be my bag of choice for the trip, me thinks. Plus one of my other Le Pliages - gotta have something foldable with me so I can switch to my new lovely black beauty on the road and shove the other bag into my backpack.
Good times ahead! :happydance:

lv pouch 26, bv medium veneta and bv pillow bag inside goyard gm st louis tote and rimowa carry on.

Aside from it being somewhat heavy, travelling with my Burberry studded Knight bag has been brilliant. The bag can hold large quantities of items, I am one of those who always think I am finished packing and the realise that I've only packed half the stuff I thought to bring. So what I use as carry-on needs to be large.

I typically use and pack a Kipling or Le sportsac of some sort, Longchamp on the plane, Heys rolling carryon with a premier bag inside to use when I'm ready for sightseeing and a Nortface backpack for my cameras, etc.

i'm definitely adding my louis vuitton metis pochette for a travel bag now. love the size, the strap, i can wear it cross body and by the handle only, also love the back zipper pocket, it's very useful to put mobile and plane ticket or passport for easy access. also it is very lightweight

PM is the best! I wore mine when I went to Thailand, Italy and France this year. Perfect size for the day, lots of
compartments for organisation and could be worn at night by the handle. Perfect!

Absolutely Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM, and a Hermès bag(I've brought along Birkin, Kelly, and Bolide). None of H bags I've brought along were very travel friendly for me. So I've got my eyes on an Evelyne, and I think that may be it!

It really depends where i am going e.g. I may not necessarily take the same bags to a city break that I would, say, a trip with lots of theme parks or long days out.

My two most recent trips have been to Florida, USA (from Scotland, UK) so I will use that as an example:

- On the plane/hand luggage: Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM
- For days out (e.g. theme parks) I wanted a small bag to carry cash, camera, phone and ID: Gucci small shoulder bag
For trips to the malls and outlets: Gucci Joy Boston
