What colour do you think is the Monogram Canvas' monogram?

I think they are brownish shade (but I can see why she would say there is a hint of green). Here is a visual:

i'm to brown/gold. but my friend's sister who's also a huge fans of lv said that the older lv's is more to green. but i wonder, how long was it? because i just bought a vintage 8o's wallet that's authentic, but they're brown/gold. or mine's fake? ha ha... i'm more looking to the cowhide trim... that's why for used lv, i'm looking for older ones that already produced patina
