Jenny, the zipper tape colour looks very different from the one on your saphire mu. Even with colour variation in the leather, if it's the same colour same season the zipper tape is identical. (And yes, Delmilano's courier is 07 violet.)

So I guess marine or ink? Is the zipper tape on the courier the same colour as the one on your ink day? That could tell you. Paper tags have been mixed up in the past, even if you get 2008 tags with this it doesn't necessarily mean it's a 2008 bag.

Congratulations in any case, it looks a beautiful bag and hopefully just what you were looking for you. You are crazy woman but some of your risk purchases have def paid off!

I had another look at the pics, it looks so much like ink! Isn't marine a lot more blue?

Wow, looks like you scored an ink courier -- the first one I've seen!!!!! Congratulations!

I have to say that the colour and even leather texture looks very similar to my ink courier. The colour of ink is so chameleonic that I'm confused every time I look at it :p

Also, the courier looks exactly like your ink day in your photo. I don't think it's marine as marine doesn't have much purple tone to it.

No matter what colour it is, it's gorgeous! :woohoo:

Thanks, enciell!! I think you're right. After all this hubbub, it turns out that although I was hoping I'd bought a Sapphire Courier (although it was called Aubergine), that instead I bought a new Ink Courier. Ironically, probably Ink is better for me since it's subtler than Sapphire/Violet which would probably wear ME.

I guess there may be a further chapter once the paper tags arrive, but it IS Ink...I guess...

Jenny - the bag is 2die4:drool: - what Song told me was that she bought all of Bals stock in this particular color. She did call the color ink. I now understand why she said this was her personal favorite color - it's gorgeous. As much as I love delmilano's violet - this is beyond gorgeous.
