What color is this courier???

cocodrillo, of course I don't mind: it's Song in Vienna. Their website is www.song.at and here is a photo of what they have right now. They're getting more couriers in January, too.

What I meant (but did not articulate well) was that BAL's sapphire is pretty vivid purple (ok, it's no apple green, or jaune or vert gazon), but aubergine/eggplant/greyish purple seems like it would be much more subdued, and I guess I wouldn't ever have thought of sapphire as a subdued color. I think of sapphire as being more akin to 2007 Violet. Sorry to be confusing!

I have sent an email to Bal and am hoping for an answer as to where there are Violet couriers here in Europe and can let you know if you're interested.
It does look like ink except the zipper tape, I'm not sure. That looks brown. Could it be black cherry or charbon? Sometimes photos can so distort colours. I'd say if it was an 06 courier they would know, wouldn't they?

Plus, could she have taken ALL Bal's stock in a 2008 color that we've not heard of (2008 INK???)???? (Note to self: don't buy Bbags if you don't know what color they are!!!!!!)

jenny - it's always hard when they don't state the balenciaga color
- I'm still waiting to hear from Bal but it seems only dull dark colors are available with the exception of the anthracite at harvey nics - i agree with mymy about the price at song 770- it's 45 more than Bal -725.

Honestly, to be able to get what I want is well worth the $88.00.

Btw, doesn't anyone wonder if it's a Europe-only color? cocodrillo said that Song said that they bought all Bal's stock in that color and style. What do you all think? Could that be?

Jenny, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's saphire or ink. No, I don't believe there would be a Europe only colour in a usual style/bag.
