What color bag do you use when wearing navy?

Grey, red, burgundy, pumpkin/orange or black.
my favorite would be red.

I'm also not a fan of most browns with navy, unless it's a light, natural looking brown.

I never heard this about black being wrong with navy, to me it's better than brown with navy. I prefer the "wear what you like" and forget these rules, like no black bags in summer..?? Why not??? Any way, I think orange is great with navy. Red, emerald green. Cream, white, pink. I also like black and brown together, another of those "rules"

I do mix navy with black. Brown can be the softer choice, or yellow, or white, or grey. Red, green can add that pop of colour to dark navy. I won't mix navy with a navy bag though, too dull for me.

Agreed with both bold part. In fact, navy and (dark) brown would be the only colours I wouldn't wear with navy.

Brown, gray and most recently I have been trying to incorporate an orange bag into the mix....looks great with navy.

Yes!! That gives me inspiration on my new bright orange leather Burberry!!!


I go with red, almost always, with navy. I also love mustard yellow, gold, white, and beige/nude.


But I have pulled off red, black, and navy before with many compliments - a navy and red Jason Wu for Target dress, Red St John Blazer with black piping, red Prada bow ballet flats with a big puffy black bow, and a black leather purse.
