What can I do to be distracted while I wait for my pretties?

I won't have my new wedding band and e-ring for at least a week more and all I can do is think and obsess about them.

What kind of ideas do you have for what I can do to distract. Ive been through the Hermes threads...the Bbag threads...the whole e-ring thread...

What else can I shop for ;)

I totally went through that when I was waiting for my upgrade last January. It was SOOOO hard to wait. I think I was on PS every 10 minutes looking at other rings and yearning for my own!

Anyway, the best way to distract me is to list things on *bay. Doesn't matter what it is, I start the amounts really low so I can watch the drama unfold. Sounds silly, but it gives me something else to obsess about, even if it's just at $10 pair of pants.

Already did ;) just got it last week.

I might have to look for books or read about cell phones or something. Because the more I look at jewelry the worse I get!

I have only sold 2 things on *bay...and while they went ok...the 3rd never sold. So I gave up lol

HAHA! Ame we are SO on the same page right now! I just took the plunge and ordered my rings at Tiffany's (actually am wearing the band now and having the e-ring sized - YAY!) and am going crazy having to wait for them!! I spotted the Victoria Diamond Bracelet at the store while waiting and am stalking them online now... I can't wait to see your reveal! Will post pics of my new beauty as soon as I get it!!!

AB-so-lutely.

I am going bonkers. I have charged batteries. I have stalked the type of flowers I may or may not purchase for still life purposes.

I am paid off as far as the deposits I had to put on credit cards, and all the rest were wire-transfers.

I will post the pics of what I have now though...as far as what I know.

SO pretty ame!! We ended up getting VERY similar sets!!

I went a bit nuts and after trying on the Tiffany classic setting HAD to have the Tiffany's one! LOL. So after trying on about a dozen rings and searching the worldwide system for the perfect diamond for me, I have the 6 prong classic setting being resized for me right now with a 1.26/G/VS2 stone... and this band:

Am wearing the band now and it sparkles SO beautifully! Cannot WAIT to get the E-ring!!! LOL am posting things on ebay too...

LOL we did! I pretty much bought what I had before, with a bigger center stone in the solitaire and two more diamonds in the wedding band than I had. They could have remade the wedding ring exactly but I opted to add two stones. And I think the diamonds are slightly larger (1pt each larger) than before. I am hoping that is here this week but that's not likely. Probably next week. I don't think Ill have the e-ring til next week either.

I like the Tiffany setting except I would want the stone set higher and the head up higher in the band. And that won't happen ;)

So how long til you have yours to model for us?!!!

oh ame, your stone is absolutely gorgeous and the settings are so elegant, i love it. make sure you post pics the minute you get them. i know both you and surfergirljen have been waiting anxiously for your rings—especially since you guys pretty much went through the same thing (yours being stolen and hers being lost). i feel for you both, as i have been there. lost my original set a year and a half after we were married. i was so depressed.

i'm excited for you guys and i can't wait to see them on your fingers when you receive them. congrats!

p.s. ame, be sure to post a pic with your new handbag, as well. ;)

Oh I sure will! You guys will be so tired of me. haha!

Thank you, I really was freaking out...I am still pretty much in shock.

I can't even believe this one is ready. W-ring I don't think I will see til next week as much as I would love to have it this week. Friday is exactly 3 weeks from the day I ordered and they say 3-4 weeks thereabouts normally.

hahaha, I know how you feel. Your new diamond and setting look GORGEOUS! I can't wait to see it all together (and I know you can't either!!). TV always helps, especially if it's something high drama! cleaning won't take your mind off of it (at least it never does for me). as for shopping, I know I can waste hours and hours shopping for nail polish colors bc I look through blog after blog of different colors on ppl's nails. It's a bad addiction if you're looking for something to keep your mind off the wait :)
