Anyway... *yawn*

Question: There are so many bags out there and some reach major market saturation, so is there a bag you keep seeing and maybe even own that you wish would go away?

Answer: Those Longchamp canvas totes. :blah: I just don't get the fascination with them.

love love love longchamp. First, over here they are cheap, second they are undestroyable and third due to first you can have one to each outfit. Over here we use them for shopping.

Micro bags were big in the 70's so you could dance and not leave your bag on the table.
I would have to give them a pass this time around since I don't plan on going clubbing EVER again.
Amen to never clubbing again! But I do like a micro-bag for business / networking events where I'll want to be doing something with my hands such as eating, drinking, doing social media, shaking hands, and exchanging business cards. It makes it so much easier to feel at ease when I don't have to worry about where my bag is, or mess with carrying it on my arm. YMMV of course, but I think micro-bags usefulness has evolved along with our lives. :-)

So true.
I think it's easy to get disgusted with some bags when you constantly see them in the wrong setting.
For example, fanny packs on people not jogging or at a theme park.
Nylon backpacks on people in a suit.
Mass market logo bags that are carried til they are literally falling apart.
Personally I love almost all bags. I just get tired of seeing the same ones over and over.

Can you elaborate on "mass market logo bags" for me? I think I know what you mean but I'd love for you to say a bit more about it.

Thanks! :)

I have nothing against Coach or MK. I own several MK myself and use them. I sold the Coach since the straps have gotten too short for me these days.
Both MK and Coach make some beautiful bags at all price points.
That being said, the is always an "entry level" bag with a low price point so people can get "hooked" on the designers line and upgrade as the consumer matures.
These bags are produced by the 10's of thousands. The quality isn't very high because the company is hoping you will upgrade when that one wears out.
There are some people who carry the bag FAR to long. The straps are peeling, the logo is wearing off. The bag has sometimes literally been drug through the mud.
Usually it is filthy. And stained.
Rather than buy a nice new mid tier bag in their price point, far to many people hang on to that bag and keep carrying it to show they can "afford" the more popular brand.
We all start somewhere and have different budgets. Nothing wrong with that.
But just because it says "Coach" or MK or KS does not mean it's a quality bag.
