If money and access were not issues, what would be your TOP FIVE dream bags. (They can be bags you own now, of course.)

Mine are:

1. Chanel 2.55 in black caviar leather w/ silver hardware
2. Hermes Kelly in royal blue crocodile leather
3. Fendi Spy Satchel in metallic lambskin leather
4. Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo in tan with exterior zipper pattern (limited edition)
5. Balenciaga Classique in seafoam

Comments to the Bags:
1. Classic, classic, classic! Caviar leather is so durable.
2. Epitome of elegance. I love royal blue.
3. Subtle, not gaudy metallic color. Both silver and gold hues.
4. I'm a big fan of nude/skin color. The zipper detail adds a twist.
5. Seafoam green is TO DIE FOR. This is my edgiest bag in the list.

1. Balenciaga City with GGH. This bag is very suited to my style and goes with pretty much everything. The distressed leather makes it practical for everyday use. I have this bag in black.

2. Miu Miu Coffer. I remember the first time I laid eyes on this bag... I thought it was the most beautiful bag I'd ever seen! To this day I still think it is the most awesome design, perhaps a tie with the Chanel 2.55. I have this bag in Brown lambskin leather and it is not as pratical and durable as the City. The leather gets stained and scratched easily so I don't use it often. If I could repurchase this bag I'd get it in a darker color and in distressed leather so I can wear it every day!

3. Chanel 2.55 in Black - to me this is the ultimate classic and timeless bag. The design is beautiful. However, I usually dress very casual so I don't think this bag suits my everyday style that well. This bag is still definitely on my wishlist though.

4. Gucci Braided Pelham Guccissima - I'd eyed this bag for a long time and finally got it in brown. Somehow I'm still torn on whether I should've gotten it in black. Anyway, I think this bag is a show stopper. It has very nice details (braided straps, guccissima leather, horsebit details, and "feet") without being over the top. I get the most compliments on this bag, not necessarily because it's the most beautiful, but people recognize the Gucci monogram. It's a large bag that fits well on the shoulders and practical for all day use.

5. Fendi Zucca Spy with Braided Handles - I think this is another very unique and beautifully designed bag. I like big bags and it is a good size. I can't seem to find one with braided handles anymore though, only tortoise handles. I don't think this bag carries that well on the shoulders, and I don't like "carry" bags satchel style, so this wouldn't be an every day bag for me. If money wasn't an issue I'd own this bag right now.

Great question.

DREAM BAG LIST:

1. Prada Fairy bag in prugna (which was the cream color) in either the squarish or rounded shape
2. Balenciaga black rh City
3. Bottega Veneta Hobo in chocolate brown crocodile
4. 2.55 white Chanel w/ silver hardward
5.
Bottega Veneta Maxi Intrecciato in black

Comments to the Bags:
1. My holy grail. I want this bag just as a collector's piece. I loved looking at it and the leather was BEAUTIFUL---soft, with just the slightest shimmer. Alas, I think with the bleeding issues and sooo many fakes out there, it will eventually be extinct.
2. Just enough edginess for me (I'm a pretty classic, conservative dresser), with a nice slouchiness, great leather and I love the littlest detail: the tassels.
3. I love the rich color brown, and the dressiness of the crocodile is diluted for me just enough with the casualness of the hobo shape. A structured croc bag would be just a tad too formal for my lifestyle.
4. A white bag in the spring/summer really pops. Plus for me, using it for just half the year if I'm also reasonably careful with it, allows me to have it for a long time. And of course, it's CLASSIC.
5. Another casual, unstructured black bag (it's my go-to color for just about everything) for me to rotate with the City, that also provides a completely different look.

1) I would love a Prada Fairy satchel in the astro (grey) colour but I'm also scared of ruining it...
2) the light pink Chanel Maxi that Lindsay Lohan has (although I would probably destroy that one too - the light colours have major colour transfer issues)
3) a Chanel baby Coco Cabas in a fun colour like bronze or white. So sad I missed out on this bag.
4) a large grey Chanel reissue camera bag - so simple yet so perfect and elegant
5) a black medium Givenchy Nightingale - I have been dying to see this bag IRL since it only seems to be at Barneys. It looks like such a great everyday bag - slouchy, understated with a bit of rocker chic

I also really like the YSL Rive Gauche in ostrich only. I don't think I would buy a bag made of ostrich, but this one looks so nice.
