update! i sent her an "ask seller a question".. this is what i said:

Hello there! I may be coming off as a little rude and I apologize, but are you aware that your bag is indeed a counterfeit? The serial number you provide is impossible and incorrect (M5900 indicating that it was made in the 50th month of 1990.. which we all know is impossible). Further more, if it was authentic, you would be selling it for way more than what you said you paid for it ($2300.00), or at least at the same price, since it is a highly limited piece, but with some interior stains. I can name off other reasons why it's a counterfeit bag, but I'm sure you've read enough. There are plenty of bad fakes I'm sure you've seen, and there are plenty of good fakes as well. This one however, is a mediocre fake.. neither bad nor good. Good luck on your sale, but whoever buys it is still buying a counterfeit bag, and I'm sure you wouldn't want to condone such actions. Have a good day.

this is what she responded with:
Hi,

On the LV purse that I have that you sent me the long email in regards too, no I don't think you are being rude, and I thank you for your input, but it was purchased at a LV store and I know that it is real, but if you don't think it is, well, you don't have to bid on it, abd the reason it is low is that this is for a charity, not for profit, but I do thank you for your information, have a great day!! Michelle
oh and I did have it checked at a LV store in Dallas also a few weeks back when I was there.

for the love of gawd.

There must be something illegal (besides selling a fake bag) to pose as a federal agent. :sneaky:

If it is really for a charitable cause, don't you want to raise more to "support the cause."

This lady is just full of it. She went beyond just pure ignorance (some people just don't know any better --thinking they can get real LV from off the street) :noworry:

The ad should actually read:

'I sell fugly counterfeit bags and such while posing as a law enforcement officer and such and I'm scamming you twice because I'm not really going to donate the money to charity. And such.'

OMG! The LV pattern isn't even straight! Bad Karma Bad Karma! If she was in LV how come she didn't pick up a new dust bag? They are free and then she would have at least had an AUTHENTIC dust bag. Hee hee
