So, I found this thread a very good idea! It made me really curious, so I just came home, and was weighing my bags. I would like to point out, that I just used my kitchen scale, which is quite small, so the bags were hanging over the scale, so the figures are just approximately, but just for fun, this came out:


Alma PM Monogram including lock and keys - 762 gramm
Alma PM Vernis Amarante incl. lock and keys - 715 gramm
Brea Vernis with Long strap - 780 gramm
Pallas Monogram - 900 gramm
Speedy B 30 DE - 780 gramm
Marais Empreinte - 1.050 gramm
Eva cluth incl. long strap - 208 gramm


I have not even tried the Neverfull GM, because it is much more bigger, but I would be really curious. I hope, someone just has a baby scale, and can do more accurately weighing.

this is a great thread on the weight of bags! I too like lighter ones.
I am thinking of getting a Speedy 35 for some light overnight trips when I don't have to bring extra shoes! I have the Mono 30 but it just isn't big enough or it's completely stuffed! I would prefer an Epi just for something different but I am concerned it will be too heavy once filled.

I see this from the above links:
Epi Speedy 30: 884 grams / 1.95 lbs and
Mono Speedy 35 (w/ lock) - 1 lb / 0.45kg

so the Epi Speedy 30 is already double what a Mono speedy 35 is! eek.

Would anyone by chance be able to weigh their Epi Speedy 35 with or without the lock please as a form of comparison? or if you have both a Mono Speedy 35 and an Epi Speedy 35 to compare, that would be great, thanks!

Good question! I am also interested in knowing weights of all my bags before choosing them. The best is too see and try them if you can of course do it.

My speedy 25DE is ok for me ; inside a put only:

- my wallet,
- my keys,
- my minipochette
- my pochette accesoires and it is ok.

Maybe more one mini pochette and Clemence wallet (which looks lighter than my old wallet Sarah).:lolots: for a better organization.

Any info about more handbags ? Because maybe I would like to have one more :sunnies

I'm surprised your Alma in Mono weighs more than Vernis, which is full leather. Curious!
