marialc121, your wedding set is beautiful!

My vote is for the pink diamond eternity band. The pink diamonds add a splash of color, are more unique (and rare), and the small emerald diamonds on the eternity band would compliment your engagement ring.

Thank you so much! :hugs:

Same thoughts on the diamonds on the band! My only concern is that the band is 1.8mm in width and my other two rings are 1.2mm. Will that be ok since I can’t try it on? :confused1:

Honestly, if you can't try it on then I likely wouldn't buy it unless it can be returned. Adding a band to your set has to be a perfect fit for it to work, in my view anyway.

It would be nice if you could tie it all together as a set so it doesn't look like you just randomly added another band (Unless that is the look you're going for). One poster suggested setting the pink stones in platinum, which is a great idea, but since you prefer pink gold, you could instead change the pink emerald cut diamonds on the band to white emerald cut stones. Then you would have white and pink stones together and the white emerald cut stones on the pink band would give a nod to your emerald cut engagement ring. This would make the set "make sense." If coordinating your rings isn't the issue, then it doesn't really matter, just pick the one you like best. Congratulations!

The 1.8mm is only 33% larger than the 1.2mm ring, so it is unlikely that the 1.8mm would overwhelm your wedding set. A 3mm or larger band would probably be a bit overwhelming in comparison to the bands on your wedding set. While the 1.8mm would be visually larger, I believe it would blend beautifully with your wedding set.

I do understand the concern of not being able to try on the ring. If the jeweler has a 1.8mm ring in a different stone or style, it would probably be worthwhile to try it on for a visual size comparison. At least this is a fun concern to be dealing with.

Thank you! :flowers: I think that’s why I’m having some hesitation as well.

Thanks so much! :flowers: Those are really good ideas. I was also thinking of getting an all round pink diamonds band like this one so it’ll be similar to my wedding band but just with different color diamonds and metal.

Thank you for helping me with this! It really is helpful getting your perspective. Unfortunately, I can’t try this band at the jeweler since they are out of state but maybe I can go somewhere locally to try out a 1.8mm band. That’s a good idea.

Correction to one of my previous posts (#21 in this thread).

After reviewing my air headed math skills, I realized that I incorrectly stated that 1.8mm is 33% more that 1.2mm. I should have correctly stated that 1.8mm is 50% more that 1.2mm. Oops, sorry if I caused any confusion with that mistake.

I still believe that the 1.8mm would blend well with your wedding set; however, it is larger than I was first thinking. As you mentioned above, trying a 1.8mm ring on locally is an excellent idea.
