Thank you Texasgirliegirl!

I met with our SA, alone, and made a decision for the solitaire. We figured out that with our budget, the solitaire would get us around .85, whereas the other with the diamond band is .65 at most. It looked too tiny!

He sat with me, and first let me arrive at my own decision. After I decided, he then agreed with me, and showed me different ways, ie looking at different angles, etc, so solitaire it will be! They had a .84 in stock, but .85 is what im hoping for!

Just be sure to see as much inventory available in budget in that size range as possible. Use the cheat sheet, and you can PM me if you want input. I will be glad to assist you in selecting a winner. Just because it's Tiffany does NOT mean it's well cut.

Hi Ame!

I will give them the proportions when I see them Friday for when theyre looking cause I doubt my SO cares hehe.

They won't contact me beyond this point because he doesnt want me knowing that he got the ring so after I give them the list, its going to be out of my hands :(

Ame and Others, just wanted to let you know that I emailed our SA with the list of proportions that I was given by Ame and asked her to limit us to those, and CC'ed my BF to not fully let go of the control.:angel: He shouldn't be surprised by this, considering I came in with a notepad full of questions and wedding bands to try on for our SA yesterday and love everything in writing since I am in law school :laugh::giggles::giggles: Somehow, the SA wasnt shocked when I pulled out the notepad, tisk tisk, the man knows me too well.

We are also dropping off his tiffany application on Friday, so I will make sure to take a paper copy with me and reiterate our, better yet, MY request for those proportions based on the knowledge of Amazing Ame!

Man, I really am making them work for their money :p

As well you should! As much as they spend on marketing to set those insane prices....
