Agree! I love this idea! I have so much to go through.:hrmm: I totally agree with @Mimmy about the pandemic and losing my sense of fashion. Makeup, as well.
I just started wearing lipstick again. Initially I was wearing a mask most of the time and the masks I was wearing smeared it. I tried lip stain but it just seemed to dry out my lips.

I still wear a mask but not all of the time. I found some LG disposable masks that stick out far enough from my face so that they don’t smear my lipstick … total game changer.

At the risk of being a thread hog I am posting what I wore to the grocery store today. I transferred my stuff into my Pico 22 which was a good idea as sometimes I am rushing before going to work and forget to put everything into the bag I am changing into, so I am ready for tomorrow on my bag.

I am a fan of graphic tees and cannot wear these to work but like to wear them on my days off. This one features Gudetama. The jeans and sandals are Rag & Bone, a brand I really like for staples and casual clothing.

The sunglasses are Chloé. I have many sunglasses. This is a category that I am on a very hard pause on as I have more than enough. I don’t know if others on this thread are in the US but The Rack used to have these amazing deals on designer sunglasses and I took advantage of this. I had already started trying to rotate through my sunglasses so this thread came at the perfect time @Timeless Classic Chic.

The leather jacket is Current/Elliott. If it seems odd that I wore a leather jacket with sandals it is very lightweight. I have many leather jackets, blazers, sweaters and other jackets which I also am on a hard pause with buying any more as I live in Florida and really don’t need them. I just think that a jacket or blazer really makes an outfit look complete so I am going to try to wear these more too!

I wore a vintage Omega men’s watch and a pair of citrine stud earrings so I was totally accessorized today. @lulu212121 I also wore casual makeup but what I consider “full makeup” including lipstick.

Timeless Classic Chic, you asked me to post how I felt. I felt great! I am normally a fairly “smiley” person but I must have been extra engaging today as it seemed like people went out of their way to talk to me today which in today’s climate can be fairly unusual.

Apologies for the long post but this thread is really what I needed!

Does anyone else feel guilty about the amount of clothes, shoes, and handbags they own and haven’t used or wore in years? I’m in the middle of cleaning out my closet, and notice how many things I own, and still love but just don’t wear. Personally, I feel like the pandemic has destroyed my sense of style and fashion.

Which lead me to create this post. Is there anyone else feeling the same way, and perhaps interested in creating a fashion challenge in which we would essentially be shopping our own closet. Maybe we could select 2-4 items from ea. category; garments, shoes, handbags, accessories, jewelry, etc. that we may never used or worn, or just been sitting for years. Perhaps, we could style these items alone or with other pieces we wear often. ‍♀️ Any thoughts or ideas?

I think this challenge could be really fun ladies and gents

Most of my things are displayed so I can see all at once. Whenever I go out, even for just a very small errand, to the postoffice or just to pick up or drop something off, I intentionally pick out something that hasn't been carried in forever. I have a collection I can't bear to part with due to the prices of current items and things I keep pristine so I don't feel they don't get "ignored". I think it's my own way of justifying my purchases and keeping them relevant in my wardrobe.

In that outfit, I’m sure you had an extra glow that naturally attracted people to you. That look was stunning. You must teach me how to create a style board of my ootd.

Oh wow, you have a lovely collection of Tory Burch flats. They are so classic and chic. The purple and blue are beautiful pops of color.
Aww thanks so much, yeah they are great shoes, wore them loads when I got them but since 2020 they've sat unworn and I've been thinking maybe it's time for this man to start wearing his older tory burch flats again also thanks for not minding that I wear tory burch flats as a man

FG27, I commend you for being your authentic self. I've found that people are jealous of those who can live freely without caring about other people's opinion of them. My motto is, as long as you're happy and not harming anyone else, do what makes you happy. Besides, that's what fashion is all about- self-expression. Stay beautiful! Be you!:heart::heart: Wear those shoes, clothes, and whatever else makes you happy, and feel amazing. I'm really glad you joined the challenge.
