I don't go on the forum from my phone so I'm going to have to figure out how to watermark my pics on the laptop. I may have to get my son to help me. He's the computer geek in the family. LOL I know just enough about them to be dangerous! LOL Til then, I won't be loading any more pics. :sad::shucks:

Another suggestion is to place the watermark somewhere on the bag or in a position where it's hard to remove it and still use the picture. If it's anywhere other than the bag it is very easy to crop out and still use the picture. [emoji3]

A watermark isn't going to do anything if it's in a part of a photo that can be cropped right off. Please do make sure to have it overlap the bag!

Thank you, CynthiaZ, for bringing this up. I've had a photo from my Instagram account stolen and used in an ebay listing once. The nerve of some people!

I suddenly thought that when I posted my first one and thought that they would just crop it. In future I will be going with the suggestion of ensuring it is on the bag itself. Such a shame we have to take such measures to ensure our photos remain ours.

Just thinking given keshapie1973 photo maybe we should all agree to use the same hallmark like the one that she did, which was a great idea so we could all do the same for example

So they go over the beautiful kors so they can't be cropped
(so frustrating,) And we all credit tpf for feeding our addiction lol and which year that purchase was from?

I was thinking the same thing as you, because yes, the watermark could be cropped out, HOWEVER, this really stinks because it ruins the whole look of the bag! We want to see the bags! Watermarks can block much of the details. What a shame we have to go through this because of these crooks. Makes me so mad! Always something or someone, spoiling our fun! WAAH!! lol! :woot::rant::pullhair:

Yes, but it is such a pity we have to do this! But we have to do someting to stop these crooks. And then what?? We tell everyone who comes here to watermark their pics?? I don't see how we can control this. So tired of avoiding crooks! Wish they were in front of my right now!! :boxing:

I am using the app and the suggestion of another app(lol) to watermark that said if you want to use your computer what about a hand written one? set it on the bag itself? that way there is no editing.. it would at least help until some editing software is available.

Usually she will mark her name on the product/bag itself sometimes she doesn't though.

Looks good, though with some of the bags cropping could occur. It's a tough balance between leaving decent pictures and having them taken for misuse. Super frustrating!
