If you're looking at Nomos, also consider Stowa - also handmade in Germany, and made to order. Beautifully finished movements, and something that you definitely don't see everyday.

This is an excellent suggestion. My boyfriend is in his mid twenties and he really thinks TAG is too trendy. He loves Omega. I know a few other men that feel the same way. I think Omega is more classic for sure and probably will fit in better with investment bankers.

They sell Tag at Costco sometimes if you decide on that and are looking for a deal while knowing it is definitely legit.

They have pre-owned tags at portero for under 1k. I don't know the quality, I've never ordered from them but they also have rolex for under 2k. I was on the same boat until I lucked out when my dbf said he wants a palm watch :) yay
