I own a few different style of wallets, I found Zippy, Sarah and Joey works well for me. My fav is Sarah in epi. I love it so much hence I bought the one in tribal mask as well.

Pros: Super pretty, can't take my eyes off it. Many card slots, normal Sarah fits 16 cc, this one fits 14. 2 cc slot in front (4 in normal Sarah), very convenient. Very roomy, can fit many receipts etc. Epi leather, very durable.

Cons: Extremely expensive, this one cost the same as a new Neverfull. Hard to open or close with S lock (normal Sarah has button closure doesn't have this problem). Very thick due to the stand out bit of S lock.

I'm new to LV and my first puchase is the SpeedyB25 DE. Is it okay to buy the Emilie in Mono? Or should I stick with DE?
Also, any inputs on Alexandra wallet?

I mix and match all the time. Go with what works for you. I have both mono and DE wallets. The mono's are more flashy so when I want to be subtle I pull out DE.

Amen to this, nothing wrong with asking a relevant question. Those who have nothing to add certainly don't have to contribute.
That being said, I wish I could give some knowledge here but I'm not fortunate enough to own an LV wallet.
I look forward to the answers.

Thanks...I hope this thread helps you (& others) as much as it's helping me! :smile1:

My mom has the monogram canvas zippy wallet, regular long version. And I use the CoinPouch as a guy. I find the zippy wallet card holders are pain to get them out, since the zipper pull fabric part is in the way. And to place them back in. I am talking about the canvas zippy wallets in general. Those card holders are snug Tightly.

I would look into the Origami wallet long, Emilie, Josaphine, Zippy compact, Zippy men long wallet (Men has better time to take out cards than women version), Curieuse long, and Marie Lou wallet.

For compact wallet: I would pick the Anias wallet, and the Alexandra wallet, and Marie Lou compact wallet. That are the main wallet I would prefer to have for comapct wallet, if I want a women wallet. :p

If you don't mind to mix brands, I would recommend Gucci wallet in any leather, they are priced fair for wallet, and seem good quality. And I love how they offer more wallet with card holders are placed vertical than horizontal. My only con to Gucci wallet, for some is-some wallet that have interior zipper pull aren't as nice like LV wallet with interior zippers.

Thanks for the information. I will look at these! :smile1:

+2 for Emilie. Add to all the above advantages it is among the cheapest but best made wallets, and that the big slot behind the zipped compartment fits even an iPhone 6 or a Samsung Galaxy 5 or a cles (I put my MC white there, full of foreign currency and cards).

The point you all made about fitting a phone inside is a good one. I have the Samsung myself, and was wondering if it would fit. When I grab my wallet b/c I don't want to carry my bag, I always have to juggle my phone as well (separately). Putting the phone IN the wallet and carrying one thing sounds great. Very good point! :woohoo:

I love the organizer wallets- I actually just bought the daily organizer mono with rouge trim which is a seasonal color. It has a handle on the side so you can use it as a clutch. I had another one from the men's collection with vachette trim that I used for years- I had to force myself to retire it because my other wallets were not getting used. I got so many compliments on it and inquiries about it because it was discontinued.

You cannot go wrong with LV wallets- they are the most durable and practical. If you want a reasonably priced everyday wallet I also agree the ZCP and Josephine are great choices.

Thank you for the information! The daily organizer looks interesting. If you have a chance I'd love to see a pic. I definitely want to see it in person when I go to my LV store. :smile1:

Wow, beautiful colors on the Tribal Mask Sarah....and great information, thank you! :D

My bag is mono, so I was wondering the same thing about sticking with a mono wallet.

I have a feeling I will figure out what 'style' of wallet works best for my needs, then I'll decide on what 'print' (based on what's available in that style).

I certainly don't want to pick a wallet solely based on looks...b/c I plan on using it daily & if the wallet doesn't work for me, then I know I won't be happy with it-----no matter how pretty it is! :p
