I have had the following: josephine, zippy, insolite, curieuse, and compact curieuse.

The only ones I still have and use are the curieuse and the compact curieuse. Love love love!!! Here's a pic of both. Sorry, no pics of their big stuffed bellies yet! But I'd be more than happy to take some. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1424055515.240078.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1424055540.969720.jpg

My favorite wallet is definitely the Zippy. It's a very organized wallet & it comes in so many styles & colors. I have a soft spot for the look & color of Vernis. But I take extra care because it's inside my handbags & could be harmed. So I put it inside a small Purse To Go organizer.

Here's an example with my Damier Pailletes Sequin Zippy. A very special Zippy indeed. 😃

Thanks for your post...beautiful wallets! :smile1: I'd love to see them 'full' when you have time, I appreciate it!

Actually, I did do some research. I saw many threads with only wallet pictures, polls to pick between a few styles, asking about only 1 style wallet, asking what wallet to choose between 2 styles, answering the question of what wallet they own, etc.

I thought it would be nice (and helpful) to be able to read members' opinions of their pros/cons about multiple wallet styles, all condensed into one thread for those of us considering a new wallet.

If the moderators feel this thread is inappropriate, I guess they will delete it.
Amen to this, nothing wrong with asking a relevant question. Those who have nothing to add certainly don't have to contribute.
That being said, I wish I could give some knowledge here but I'm not fortunate enough to own an LV wallet.
I look forward to the answers.

My mom has the monogram canvas zippy wallet, regular long version. And I use the CoinPouch as a guy. I find the zippy wallet card holders are pain to get them out, since the zipper pull fabric part is in the way. And to place them back in. I am talking about the canvas zippy wallets in general. Those card holders are snug Tightly.

I would look into the Origami wallet long, Emilie, Josaphine, Zippy compact, Zippy men long wallet (Men has better time to take out cards than women version), Curieuse long, and Marie Lou wallet.

For compact wallet: I would pick the Anias wallet, and the Alexandra wallet, and Marie Lou compact wallet. That are the main wallet I would prefer to have for comapct wallet, if I want a women wallet. :p

If you don't mind to mix brands, I would recommend Gucci wallet in any leather, they are priced fair for wallet, and seem good quality. And I love how they offer more wallet with card holders are placed vertical than horizontal. My only con to Gucci wallet, for some is-some wallet that have interior zipper pull aren't as nice like LV wallet with interior zippers.

Another vote for the Curieuse wallet. The leather on mine is TDF and I love the very subtle shimmer in the Bronze. I love my Curieuse so much that I've sold all my other LV and Burberry wallets.

I think this post can be a very helpful and informative if there are positive contributions! Thank you for taking the time to start it :)

Thank you for replying...gorgeous wallet! To get rid of all your other wallets says a lot! :smile1:

I love your purse too....what is the name of it, I've never seen it before.
It's the Audacieuse MM in Ombre. I love her!

Is that wallet in the color bronze?

Thanks for posting...I looked up the Astrid wallet. It looks similar to the Zippy with a change purse on the outside? I'm curious...what do you like about it that makes it your favorite? :smile1:

The Astrid wallet is nothing like the zippy. I like it because, one it's versatile. It's a wallet, wristlet or clutch. I'll post pics later.

I find Josephine beautiful and a great price but unfortunately I cannot get used to the trifold style. The emilie works perfectly for me, plenty of pockets, fits a phone, cards, notes, coins and cheques. And a passport too if necessary I believe! My absolute favourite LV item! Very thin and lightweight. Relatively large but compact enough to fit in clutch bags IMO! Good luck deciding :)

+2 for Emilie. Add to all the above advantages it is among the cheapest but best made wallets, and that the big slot behind the zipped compartment fits even an iPhone 6 or a Samsung Galaxy 5 or a cles (I put my MC white there, full of foreign currency and cards).

I love the organizer wallets- I actually just bought the daily organizer mono with rouge trim which is a seasonal color. It has a handle on the side so you can use it as a clutch. I had another one from the men's collection with vachette trim that I used for years- I had to force myself to retire it because my other wallets were not getting used. I got so many compliments on it and inquiries about it because it was discontinued.

You cannot go wrong with LV wallets- they are the most durable and practical. If you want a reasonably priced everyday wallet I also agree the ZCP and Josephine are great choices.

As mentioned above, I have had my concerns about the Insolite as well- I actually returned the mono rayures Insolite (I sort of regret) for this very reason- I was worried about the slots stretching and cards falling out from the slots facing down. Also, I felt the zipper was a little flimsy and not up to LV standards. However, I did just take a chance with the infrarouge Insolite- it seems more substantial (and quite a bit more expensive!) and nowadays I do not carry that many cards in my wallet so I will not use the upside down slots at all or if I do, it will be for non-important stuff. I know a lot of people love the Insolite- I do like the looks of it. I would not count it out.
