I heard through my SA that white bags were sent back due to the chain hardware color not matching the clasp on the front for Classic flap bag. I believe this impacted white and other colors also. This all just happened.

Also having the same issue with my small classic flap. Purchased last week, same day that they received the shipment. Gold chain is clearly a different color than the logo. SA that I purchased this from is ignoring my messages about this. Debating on bringing the bag into a different boutique. What do you guys think?
I absolutely would take it back ASAP. I can’t believe they sold it that way.

Wow. I would understand if it was a purposeful design on a seasonal bag ... but for a classic flap?
At theae prices for a classic flap, I would return it. You really have to check over the bag in its entirety before taking out your cc at Chanel.
UPDATE: Ended up bringing it back into a different boutique to get a second opinion, the SA there was super helpful and told me that is definitely not right and showed me another small classic flap with the gold hardware that matches. Funny because I went back in to return the bag to the original boutique and the SA there tried to tell me that the difference in color is normal and all the bags are coming in with mismatching hardware this season

did they let you return it?Yes, I was within the 14 day return window so I was able to thankfully. Lesson learned!That is such BS
