crossvbody Venice. not sure either. very prone to scratches. do like how they open all the way down the side tho. and, again, strap is too short for a 5'10" gal. grrr
Beautiful pochette metis!!!I had been debating my next LV bag for a while and wanted a crossbody bag, but was stuck between a speedy bandouliere 25 or pochette metis. While on vacation in Japan this Christmas/New Year, I didn't see either on display in any of the LV stores I visited (mostly window-shopped). I didn't really think much of it because neither was a "must-have" that I needed right away; I had just wanted to see them in person.
But on one of my last days in Japan, I wandered into another LV store (seriously there are so many in Tokyo alone!) and decided to ask one of the SAs if they had either one. At first she said that she wasn't sure if they had any in the store, but then promised to check for me. A few minutes later, she came back to show me the PM in Marine Rouge and I kind of just had to have it. XD (not pictured, but my mom also decided to spontaneously buy the Lorette for herself and a Pallas clutch in cherry for my grandma, haha).
I honestly did not understand the appeal of a PM until I held one in my hands and tried it on. It is so comfortable and I love the way it lays against your body. Plus it carries so much and the empreinte leather is just the right amount of subtle. The marine rouge was definitely my first choice in color when it came down to it... I guess it was just meant to be! The embossing on this one is perfect too.
I made sure to ask if she could do it with the holiday packaging because it is gorgeous. *___*

I like it very much, I found the outside pocket very fonctionnal , I can put my phone and my 6keys holder inside easily. There is only 1 compartiment inside (with 3 flat pockets ) with microfiber lining (fits a Sarah wallet , 2 glasses cases, tissues, a little pouch with some medics and make up) the SA told me that it fits more than a Pochette Métis . The room inside is almost équivalent at my Siracusa PM.
Very well made, the alignement is perfect on each side, structured but not completely rigid.
You can carry it by hand, shoulder or crossbody .
Maybe the only cons for me are the folded corners (see with the time ) , the strap is not very large so may become uncomfortable if the bag is full, and of course the price point
)I didn't have bags with a flap (only zippers) but this one don't bother me, it' s easy to reach in and out. The design is not too busy, a nice "messenger " bag !

It was my birthday yesterday and I was trying to look for a gift for myself and was tossing up between a Chanel O Coin Purse and a pair of Chanel boots, but when I walked into LV asking about this, and to my surprise they had one in stock... I knew that I had to take it home with me. They only received 3 that day and I bought one, along with a woman next to me. There was only one left when I left the store. I never thought these would be in stock. It was meant to be. Excuse the unmade bed!
I got a Marignan too! In sesame. I wasn’t interested in it at all, but it’s gorgeous in person. In their pics I found the lock to be gawdy but it’s definitely not. I co-sign the strap (which is green on the backside which I LOVE) being too small. I actually tried it on with a thicker strap that I plan to get, but the small is fine for now since it’s sweater/coat weather.
That being said it does hold more than a pochette metis but I would NOT put more than what would fit in a PM because of the strap situation. Unless the excess was bulky but light, like a scarf and/or gloves. Neither the strap nor the top handle feel like they should bear substantial weight. My iPad Pro fit beautifully inside but made it too heavy. I don’t see this as a huge con because I don’t mind that I can’t overpack it. I do wish the inside were darker.
Great bag. I saw it today and thought it looked very elegant with a modern touch. It’s a beautiful piece!
