I was able to finally complete my mini pochette trifecta with the most elusive (for me anyway) mono model. Lol my SA has been waiting for a while for one to come in. I love her.

This week I am slowly starting to get back to work, and wanted to get a 2018 new year bag. Blessed with a good year end bonus and had some ‘me time’ this week to browse the shops.

Almost did not go to LV because I have never bought a bag from LV for the past four years. I fell in love with soft, light leathers and LV leathers just did not do it. But I first saw My Lockme version and amazed with the leather - hey this is light and a bit soft too! However decided that the My Lockme style/color won’t work with my lifestyle today (my husband agreed) (thanks to forum members who also helped me review the resilience of this kind of leather). Saw this one on Monday but decided to browse some more, as the price is quite steep for me. I love the bucket style (my petite Noe is one of my most used LV, and the ‘black with an edge’ style —- that bright spotlight pink edging is really cool!

Actually I already chose another new year, semi casual bag on Wed (a very beautiful red China BV) and I really love it. But this one still haunts me.

So on Friday I head back to the boutique and Made one final comparison between styles and colors. Presenting my first LV bag after 4 years... the black LV Lockme bucket bag!

I'm bummed because I was able to order the Monogram version of this from the website and now I suspect they won't be able to fulfill. It's been in preparing status for days, whereas the scarf is ready for pick up. Has anyone had that happen?View attachment 3934601

Hi SeattleLVLover, my store SA said they are releasing the stock in batches. Mine came in the 1st batch and I saw marks in the leather pouch. He exchanged it for me with the second batch which were 2 weeks apart. So don’t despair. Am sure they are releasing them slowly in the run up to Valentines. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Yes, the Clapton bag launched on Friday and it’s beautiful in person. I call it a Damier Eben Metis!
It’s $1950.00 here in the states

After many, many years of buying many, many bags from all of the usual suspect brands, I finally bought my first LV today!!! Looked at a few, thinking I would ultimately walk out with the Neverfull GM. Seemed the most practical entry choice, since it would double as a work tote.

But after working with a very patient SA who pulled multiple bags while I transferred the contents of my purse into them one at a time (to see how they would work in action), I ended up purchasing a Graceful MM (Damien Ebene).

I’d send a pic, but I haven’t even unpacked it yet. I’m still mesmerized by the box itself!

Now trying to decide if I should order a Samorga insert for it or not.....

I carry all the little things that I would have normally put in my bags pocket. Like bandaids, Neosporin, chapstick, safety pins, a Clipa ( its a clip that lets you hang your bag instead of leaving it on the floor), a pad, a small mirror, and gum. Everything but the mirror and pad go in a snack size ziplock bag to protect the lining. I’ve also used it when I only feel like carry some cards, keys and phone. I would definitely say it’s worth it.

I think it expensive because it has a soft microfiber lining and a zipper in the middle pocket as well as the leather flap. Very nice in person

Got this beauty yesterday! Totally off my radar and I fell in love when I saw it in real life. My wonderful SA found a leather strap to go with it so I could wear it casual or dressed up with the chain. I love eveething that comes with it! Wallet.. pouch... several things in one. Yay!

I love the idea of having a more casual strap. Clever idea. Can you please tell me what strap this is? Thanks.
