etoupe is too similar to taupe, even with the contrast stitching
gold is lovely and very different from taupe
i used to hate contrast stitching but i'm warming up to it, and i especially don't mind it on gold as it looks natural
gris t would be another choice since it's much lighter than taupe

Gold, but you have to decide if you like 28 or 32 better. Having said that, I love etoupe, I have a B35 and I love gold, I have a evi, but on a kelly I dont think I like the contrast stitching. Unless casual is the look you are going for. So my vote is gris t. Haha that wasnt on the list, sorry..

I'd vote for 28!

At the same time, would you rather get a Kelly 28 in black box leather from the 60s (retourne) or a Kelly 28 (A sellier) also in black box from 2006? The price difference is about US$3200!

And im so sorry...i can not reply each one of you at the sametime as i dont know how to add everyone's name with reply.

I was lucky enough to submit a SO,
My choice was etoupe birkin 30 with BE lining
Hopefully i don't need to wait for too long.

And I did ask for either Gold kelly 32 retroune or Rough H sellier 28/32 (box or epsom) for my next quota.
I will update you once I get a "Call" from the store. Wish me luck :girlsigh:

I would love to get box leather Kelly one day....but not brave enough to hunt a vintage kelly as yet.

Hi Orangefanatic

I've been struggling and am still struggling. The sellier from 06 is offered as US$6500, which is an attractive price in my opinion. The boutique is in Japan and as far as I know they're very strict with the authentication in Japan. Anyway, the reason why i still haven't made up my mind is that there are few scuffs on the leather(bottom and handle) as well as worn signs on the metalware.

Should I get it and send it to a spa or? What do you guys think?
