Vinted warning

Just been reporting literally dozens and dozens of fake M listings on Vinted.
The sellers all have random letter names, are new sellers with no feedback, and are listing bags at far too low prices.

Thank you, I've been doing exactly that too....they do seem to get removed once reported!!

I’m pretty sure the pics of that postman’s lock hobo have been stolen from eBay, I remember seeing the listing a while back.

Quite possibly! I had one of my bags "copied " but I reported it and it got removed.....another member alerted me as it was the same bag, same pictures and 1/3 of my price, so they questioned the price difference!
Every day I now see about 6 or 7 duplicate listings at reduced prices. I now go to the 'see similer' section and that often highlights any copied listings on there as some folk list on both sites.
We need to keep vigilant! Thank you for your thread!

You like to think most people wouldn’t be taken in by an obvious Frankenbag, but a “real” one advertised at a bargain price probably gets loads of interaction.

I suppose this is a reminder for everyone here to watermark photos.

This is why I started watermarking my pictures a couple of months back on both here and eBay. I had a couple of people asking me if I was selling my item on Vinted or Depop. I signed up to look and reported looooooads for a period of time but they just seem to come thick and fast on Vinted! I have to admit I deleted the account after a month or so so I no longer report.
