I should add, if you are tall, the City would probably be better in terms of drop if you want to wear as crossbody. The flap works for me as I’m only 5’1”.
I'm 5'2", so not too much taller. I am holding on to 20ish pounds of unwanted baby weight though(although my youngest is three
)that really makes a difference in how my crossbodies work for me. I carry them on my shoulder a lot, but between hauling kids, all their stuff, and dealing with carseats I go crossbody often. I guess you can make it work then. My pocket purse has the same drop as the flap. And just so you don’t feel too bad, my youngest was 3 when I finally got rid of the stubborn 10 lbs I gained from my 3 pregnancies. They stuck to me like glue for the previous 10 years even with exercise. I went low carb.
Good to know the flap will work. There's a couple I'm eyeing. I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to get the flap and a City, though

Hi everyone! I was looking for a carnival bag in here. I saw a pic of it beside a Casino when @valv54 received one in the mail but I don’t have a Casino to compare. Anyone have one with a dinky or pocket purse or something else a bit on the smaller side to compare?
Oooo thank you! I have one on the way but bought it hastily and was like... is this going to be big enough? Looks like it’ll be a nice size for the necessities. The Carnival holds more than the casino & I find it actually holds more than the Pocket purse as well. The Pocket purse is very flat so you have to lay things in a layer & if you try to add anything width wise (front to back), it becomes wonky looking. I think the Carnival is a really great small sized bag, but I might be bias because I own 3 of them lol
