Wow, girl! That is quite the collection. Are you keeping all of them or selling some?

Some are keepers and some are going. I don't know which. Might depend on how they rehab. I'll probably only keep the best ones that work for me. Most shoulder styles are getting the boot.

Oh yeah these are just the vintage ones. My 1941 collection is upstairs two bookshelves full.

While I don't have shelves and shelves of bags like @houseof999, I have been a little "flap happy" lately. Not quite vintage, but I seem to keep finding Bleeker Flaps at prices I cannot walk away from. I now am the proud mom of triplets: green, burgundy and black. Funny, I thought I'd like burgundy best but honestly I'm leaning towards black! What do y'all think?

I will not tell you that I have the same collection posted here somewhere. I love everything about this style! Unfortunately I'm getting rid of all them as the shoulder strap is too short for me to wear crossbody.
Also I own too many bags to be happy with to have to buy strap extenders to make these work for me.

I agree. The strap is too short and this bag is too heavy for me to carry as a shoulder bag. I've never considered a strap extended. That might be an option, but I feel like that additional weight will make it uncomfortable if I need to carry the bag for more than an hour.

I agree! The large brass hardware on these are super heavy. Adding to that plus contents... doesn't sound like a good idea to me. The braided details are what got me to start collecting them!

IDK where my response went.. anywho I bought them for the braided details but adding more hardware to an already heavy bag doesn't sound like a good idea.
