Eta: It went to my TPF friend before it came to me. She confirmed it was grey as well, because I originally thought I had gambled on a faded black. Sorry guys, I didn’t realize my camera makes it look so green. It’s definitely grey IRL. Didn’t wanna mislead anyone!

Thanks for the side-by-side. I would never have guessed the olive as olive, but see the bottle green and grey quite distinctly as those colors. Looking at the inside of the flap seems to present a more true color than the outside of the bag, which might have taken some abuse from wearing and sun exposure.

Hi, I would like to seek some advice on vintage Coach bag restoration. Is color restoration possible? As I had been inform by the shop that unfortunately the bag is non-pigmented leather and color restoration is not possible. It is only possible with pigmented color dye.
As I don't have much knowledge on leather goods, so I would like to confirm if Coach vintage bag are made by non-pigmented leather so that I can provide better details of the bag condition when asking for quotation on the restoration? Here are some photos of the bags...thanks in advance

Hello everyone. I want to ask your ideas about a replacement strap. I have a navy court bag which not adjustable so I can’t wear as a crossbody bag comfortably. And recently I got vintage red willies has no strap. I am looking for a replacement strap and strap extender for these. But I don’t want to lose an original looks of court and Willis. Everyone knows good replacement strap or any ideas ?

It takes a lot of looking but you can find original Coach straps listed separately for sale on some resale sites. I found an adjustable navy strap for my court that was brand new with tags. There are places that make straps but the hardware is usually not the same as Coach used.

ETA: Or you can buy another style in the same color for the strap.

Thank you for your great tips! I will keep looking for a coach one and consider finding another bag which same color adjustable strap one.

I’m so excited! After looking three months, I finally found a cabinet to house my entire vintage Willis collection! Just reorganized and revamped my handbag room. My sweet hubby helped me assemble this cabinet.

So I showed him the end result and he looks at all my hanging bags by the window and says “I thought you were moving those into the new cabinet”. I moved them to make room for these others!
