Thank you!

When I got my Madison Biltmore, I originally thought she was a Gracie. Now I'm so glad she wasn't. The Biltmore isn't huge, but it holds a full size wallet. It is close in size to new Willis.

Thanks for the info whateve, a Biltmore may be the right size for me then. And thanks for posting the geometric bag. I saw one on evilbay and decided I'd like to find one, but they didn't have the name posted or a creed, so it was hard to know what to look for! Obviously, "coach turnlock" is overwhelming to do a search on, lol!

You're welcome. I got a fake geometric once, so make sure to get it authenticated. If I see one, I'll let you know. If geometric is in the name, the price is usually higher. It is pretty small though. I'm thinking about attaching a shoulder strap the next time I carry one.

I have really gone back and forth on this, but I am going to go with the must-haves as far as just great everyday bags, btw I could only narrow it down to 6

1. For a large size my pick would be a large duffle sac or a briefcase of some kind, I have a BT Duffle Sac and Musette:

2. Courier pouch is one of my first loves and I have several of these, my plum one is in the pic

3. Willis and Station are awesome bags! I put my black Station in the pic:

4. A basic bag to me is a great night out bag, can be used as a wristlet or a shoulder bag, my vintage one pictured has some added suede touches because of damage:

5. Something Italian. I also have a Copley and feel the old Madison line is so ladylike:

6. SATCHELS! I love satchels and my favorite vintage ones are Broadway, Madison and the skinny flight bag.

and....if I could add two more in it would be Original Rambler and Stewardess, because I honestly love them just as much the above bags ;) So basically, I can't only own 5 vintage bags :p

Gorgeous Coach Porn :D

Why, why, OH WHY did I ever start this thread???? It just made my "Must Have" list bigger! Thanks so much to all of you for sharing your faves! I have now decided that I really need:

A Berkley - whateve, your red saddle bag is TDF! I'm sure red is hard to find, so I may satisfy myself with another color - for now :smile1:

A Madison Biltmore or Copley - whateve & Jessi & porter4- blaming this one on all of you!

Rambler's Legacy - Hyacinth, I am blaming you for this one! You've convinced me that I need at least one with a longer strap.

A Sonoma - Hyacinth again! I hadn't really looked at these before, but I think I am falling in love with the nubuc. Just found a purple one on evilbay!

Thanks everyone (I think)......... :p

Since Hyacinth mentioned Sheridan, this is my favorite Sheridan bag. The color of this bag is gorgeous and it is a great size. It has a long detachable strap too. Oops, I almost forgot to mention her name: Roswell domed satchel #4228. These bags are waterproof!

Thank you so much for posting this picture. I recently acquired this bag in red and to tell you the truth, I wasn't sure it was real. I've searched for days trying to find the name of this bag, and finally found your post today! Question: Do you have any idea how much it is worth if I were to decide to sell it? It is in immaculate condition. And I've read that this was a 1991 bag, but unsure. The creed number threw me off a bit.

You're welcome. You can't tell the age from the creed on bags made before 1994. The Sheridans were made in the early 90's. I really have no idea what it is worth - it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it at the time. There are services like Worthpoint that show you what bags like it have sold for in the past. You can also check the completed listings on ebay.

Just curious, why don't you want to keep it?
