I‘vd been looking for one these this past year. It’s about the only bag left on my wish list. And I’ll take any color. I have a friend who’s been lucky enough to find several of these overseas. She’s got a mahogany one for me but the shipping cost is hideous. Another friend of hers is planning a trip here but delayed by covid. Hoping she can come to the states and deliver it in person!

Once in a blue moon one will show up on Ebay or Posh, but they're $$$$$! I've seen a few fakes in that style too, which surprises me. Luckily I managed to find almost all my Holy Grail bags years ago, before the prices went nuts. Throw in retirement and Covid, and we just don't go out enough to justify buying any more bags. I even stopped buying cookware, that was my other addiction.

I’ve already gotten most of the bags I want thank goodness. Current prices are ridiculous. Working remotelyhasn’t stopped me from enjoying my beautiful bags. My biggest problem is what to carry when I do leave the house. They all want to go on an outing! When I really need a bag fix, I work in my handbag room. Oh, that leather smell!

A friend found one for me for $229! Seller got it at an estate sale.
Looks to be in good shape. Can’t wait to see it in person!

Hi, and happy Sunday! Does anyone know where i might find a stock photo of the Coach Lunchbox bag? What year did the lunchbox make its first appearance? Thanks to anyone who may know the answer to my questions!

If you mean the vintage version style 9991, it was introduced in Fall 1996 so you can start searching the catalog scans starting with that date. You'll have to Copy the photo from the catalog scans. Coach almost never made stand-alone photos of their styles available. Their item photos are copyrighted, protected by law, and weren't available for public or commercial use without permission, so there's no such thing as a "stock photo". Publicly posted photos are considered copyrighted and the property of the original owner even if they appear on public sites like Google or Ebay.

Hi Hyacinth, thanks for the response. I use the photos from your catalogue posts to organize my own handbags, I would not use them for any other purposes. I guess I asked the question in the wrong manner, I was looking for a catalogue photo to use as a reference for my own bags. I have been copying the photos from the scans. I have a few collections and I joke with my kids, please don't sell my stuff in a garage sale for 50cents when I'm gone. I am trying to leave the bags with some information about them for the future. Thanks again.

That is a great idea! I wish I’d done it from the start. I have so many now it would take me a year to ”inventory” everything. Lol!

Thanks, now I need to organize my vintage Shiny Brite ornaments and the Vintage Martini shakers. I'm new at this vintage Coach so I only have 8 or so, its easy to do. The Christmas ornaments would take a long time.

Gotcha. To me the term "stock photo" means a photo either from Coach's website and still protected by copyright, or a photo from a site like Getty Images that's available for use for a fee. With unaware or unscrupulous people selling catalog scans on various media for a profit, including a recent infamous seller on multiple sites who obviously knew it was a violation of Coach's copyright and just didn't G.A.S., I want to make sure that people understand how posted photos can and can't be used. Personal use or use as a free reference tool is OK, selling someone else's work for a profit definitely isn't. Your idea makes sense.

I did some of my bags and other items a while back but stopped doing it for some reason. The running joke here is that I want my DH to give me a Viking-style funeral - build a pyre of all my bags and wallets with me on top, light it, and then cover the whole thing with all my cookware. He can keep the cast iron and All-Clad pieces though.

I have told my oldest niece if anything happens to me suddenly, that she should take the pick of what she wants and then offer the remaining to my other nieces and then sisters. And then sell the rest for whatever she can get. When I said jokingly recently, should I tuck a piece a paper inside each one with the year, name and #, she was all, oh yes! She has dabbled in some vintage Coach.
You will fit in here just fine:lol:

I need to do that for each vintage bag and include what I paid. All my bags bought new have the oaoerwork in each bag. I always leave the tag inside my newer bags.
