Vintage Alhambra necklace won’t sit straight/centred

Same. It bothers me a lot when the chains do that. My personal favorite necklace length is 17 inch and these chains are just half inch too short. I thought about extending the chains directly via VCA, but then decided to just use a chain extender - one that allows me to hook at any desired length I want for that day. Not exactly sure why, but somehow adding that half inch length fixes the twisting problem. HTH!
As for pendant being sideways... I also experience that, especially when layering, and still haven't found a solution yet myself
It happens to me when I wear mine on bare skin. Even though I've extended it through VCA, I tend to also wear it with an additional 2-inch extender most days. It doesn't do it when I'm wearing a turtleneck.
Happened to me, so i sold both my VCA pendants and only go for 10 motif necklaces now.
Though i have 2 dainty solitaire necklaces from Cartier. They shift like mad too. But somehow i find it doesnt look so bad if the diamond is dainty

This happens to me constantly. I am getting annoyed with the chain twisting and bunching. I also will look in the mirror and see that the motif is totally off to one side. I have to straighten it all day long.
Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I tried on Alhambra pendant yesterday and noticed the shifting! Made me pause and rethink my purchase, which is always a good thing I suppose.. a bit sad too…
I thought it was just me at first because I had my necklace lengthened 2 inches when I first bought it, but then searched online and saw that it was more common than I had thought. This will definitely be something I keep in mind before getting any more necklaces from them. I wonder if the bracelets constantly end up with the clasp at top of the wrist too.
I have to constantly readjust mine because it shifts to the side. Makes me hesitate to purchase more pendants because it's annoying.
Definitely annoying. I’m thinking of selling mine just because of the constant twisting and bunching. I don’t have time to be straightening it out all day long SMH.
Could I ask which Cartier solitaire necklaces did you get? Also how are the Cartier chains do they twist and bunch up like VCA?
This happens to me too with my MOP VA pendant. I was thinking of getting a pave VA pendant (guess that would move to the side too?) and now wondering about the small or large frivole pendant--does anyone know if these tend to move to one side as well?
I don't have any problems with the VA bracelet (the clasp stays at the bottom of my wrist), but I also have it relatively tight so it doesn't move much.
