Victoria 35 in Rouge Casaque or Etoupe?

Chefcat, true that. I love etoupe and since I don't have etoupe bag yet, I really want to try it out.
I hope we can be twins! I have only 3 months window to do so, or I will stay with RC. My husband already purchased RC for me.
Hi Xiangxiang, thank you for your wise advice. My husband already purchased me RC Vic. I already went to my store and asked them for etoupe, they don't carry it now. My store only receives twice a month shipment and they gave me 3 months window for exchange. SA told me no more shipment this month, so I would try in Jan and Feb if they don't receive etoupe I will stay with RC. You are absolutely right about RC being a seasonal color. My heart sways.....
seen both colors in store last month (side by side) .. altho RC is gorgeous .. the one which make me memorized is Etoupe. get RC (since it is a seasonal color) if you see yourself able to afford both and don't mind repeated colors in your collection. the one which will "last" will be etoupe in my humble view

Although I know in my head that RC is a seasonal color and it is limited, my heart goes for Etoupe. I enjoy H with my heart, I decide to follow my heart. However I have only 3 months window to exchange, if my store doesn't receive an Etoupe within this time I will settle with RC, well thats called destiny.
I see you are still struggling - they are both beautiful, but I would definitely go with the Rouge Casaque. It is an absolutely stunning shade of red and I love a pop of color, especially in the more casual bags. (My Victoria is Iris!) My boutique had a RC Victoria, but it was sold immediately - too bad, I would love to have had it!!
I just bought a Victoria in RC. I think the victoria pops more with the RC. It has black resin which makes the bags features stand out more. I find the contrast stitching on the etoupe victoria has less impact for me. This is only my humble opinion, but until this RC bag I only owned neutral colored bags, I hope that tells you what I think of a victoria in RC.
Your wise words coming from someone who actually owns a Vic RC tells me something..... I think another reason why my heart is tilting towards Etoupe is because I own equal numbers of H bags in neutral and pop: Gold, Chocolate, Graphite, Menthe-Gris T, Orange, and Bleu Jean. I was in the same dilemma 3 days ago, when I saw both a RC & a black 34 jypsieres in my local H. Here in Asia, u are lucky to see ANY leather H bags all year round, particularly at Xmas. I asked my SA to hold them both for me for ONE day but they refused. So I asked them to hold them for one hr while I decide. My head cleared 10'' after I left H. Get RC if u'd like people to notice u've got a new bag. Get a neutral if u want to be low profile. I called my SA to inform her that I'd like a neutral other than black when it becomes available in future.
Then yesterday I called my SA about an unrelated matter. All other jypsieres were gone except the RC. I didn't get it but I wondered why it was still there 48 hrs after I first saw it & it's the Xmas shopping season.
Honhon: The RC is definitely headturning. I still have the urge to get it before it is gone. U will not regret keeping it. BUT it is an expensive bag & u are unlikely to wear it every day!

DLee and HappyLife, Thank you for taking your precious time to make a comment. Since I made this thread and whenever I am in town my eyes follow ladies with red bags. Its so true that red is a neutral color. It goes with anything. It even makes etoupe more difficult because there are hundred different shades of brown, and putting etoupe with any brown shade is tricky. Mmmmmm........
