i HAD a graphite clemence birkin and sold it as the bag was just too heavy for me. I now have a graphite ostrich. Graphite is the best color Hermes makes IMO. More interesrting than black, year round as it goes well with light and dark colors and it is truly neutral (no green, no blue). vert de gris is green and doesnt work with a lot of "colors"

hmmmm in all honesty to me graphite is a much better accomplished color !! its more defined and in all honesty a more clean and perfect in a way.

I'm waiting for a Graphite Birkin, and I was offered a Vert de Gris one, but I turned it down. Graphite is a true dark grey,a metallic grey, no green in it, while VdG is a green/grey; I would put it in the green family, not the grey one.
I didn't particularly like this colour, I find it a bit drab (JMHO)

I'm also waiting to see Eucalyptus as my store didn't have the swatch. I was told it's also a green/grey but lighter than VdG, a sage green.....like the leaves of the Eucalyptus tree.

How does Vert Veronese, which to me is a dark sage, compare wit Eucalyptus?

I wish I knew....I haven't seen Eucalyptus so I can't really compare it to Vert Veronese, but I did buy a Birkin in VV, only to sell it shortly afterwards.... The colour didn't convince me, it reminded me of pea soup, I found it drab, a greener version of Vert de Gris. That's why I have high hopes for Eucalyptus, although those who have seen it describe it as a darkish green/brown (I don't see what that's got to do with Eucalyptus.....) I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
