I am not a authenticator I just wanted to pitch in to say that ri ri is the brand name of the zipper they are found on many high end items I have a McQueen jacket with a ri ri zipper.

Thanx for the info. I'm just worried because there is no Versace logo on the bag. Is this fine? Do they have older versions that do not have the logo?

The bag is described as. " this an authentic Versace handbag that was purchased in Europe as a gift. The inside lining has "Versace Signatuer" stitched into the fabric and there is a black suede patch that says "Versace Italy". ?
Bag measurements - approximately 11.5" x 6.5" x 4.5".

Hi,
Could someone please authenticate this bag for me? I found it in a shop while in Japan. It looks very nice and doesn't feel like the cheap knock offs I've seen but I know very little about the signs of it being fake since it seems to be vintage. The style is a sling/ back pack. It says Gianni Versace on the tag inside with gold leather lining inside and has metal accents with the small medusa heads all around as well as one large one on the front. I would like to know:
Is it real?
About how old?
I want to sell it on an auction site but have know idea of it's worth if it is real. Thanks for any help in advance ^_^

Good idea, I'd be interested in this too. I have no idea how we could start it though, but at least I bumped this post now

I just logged in specifically to look at any threads ab how to recognize if a silk Versace scarf is fake or authentic. I am surprised not to find Versace's name among the designers discussed in the forums. He was a great and popular designer and fakes of Versace clothes, bags, scarves, etc... abound as the originals are rather expensive. I am all for including Versace into Purse Forum.

Is it possible to have these vintage versace sunglasses 424 authenticated? I am new here and it seems this is the number 1 place on the internet to get designer items authenticated. If this is the wrong section, please let me know. My apologies if so.

Here are the sunglasses. All the 424 versace models I seen on ebay have the model number on the inside of the arms as well the versace made in italy logo on the apposite arm.

These say versace 424 made in france. That is it. They are old and have patina on the gold plating clearing showing they are pretty old and minor scuffing on the frame/lens (pics show the gold plating pretty shiny) Now on the other hand, The leather case they came in say made in italy. Can an expert tell me if they are real and reason being said made in france? or if they are fake can you explain as well how? I would highly appreciate it.

Hello I have several vintage Versace sunglasses and all seem to have stamp Made in Italy after Gianni Versace in capital letters inside one arm. On the inside of the other arm they all have model and colour numbers. My Versus sunglasses are also Made in Italy, have model and colour numbers inside arms and have Versus in capital letters + Gianni Versace's signature underneath. I would not be 100% sure that the ones you have pictured are authentic.

Hi, I just looked at my Versace Jeans Couture trousers and the logo has Medusa Head with different hair (snakes). The manufacturer's label is also different but it's possible that the logo and the label have been changed over the years. The trousers look great.
