I like fanfare too, I just worry about all that white! Are you going to scotch guard it? I have the pleated tote in Midnight Blues and it's my favorite tote! I'm currently using it as a toddler bag. My mom uses hers as a purse but loves that it's big enough to throw her lunch, iPad etc in.

There should be a good bit of va va bloom at the outlets now. You can call to see if they have what you want and then have it shipped. I think it's around $8 flat rate. Pretty sure most outlets ship. I know the one in Grove City PA does. Even with the shipping I can usually get better deals than the sale prices on the VB website.

Hello HarliRexx, unfortunately I don't have an outlet near me and the retail store is too far to touch and feel the patterns.
I think I will take my chances on not scotch guarding this time. Luckily the outlet special online has a Glenna VvB that I had been eyeing so that is on my list. I love the larger size bags and trying to pick up more of the smaller accessories.
Not too crazy about the summer patterns, how about you?

Yeah I understand wanting to see the patterns in person first. Sometimes I search for them on Ebay to get a better idea of what they look like in real life. I can be picky about pattern placement on certain items too.

One thing I really like about Glenna is both sides are the same, so you can make the "front" the side with the pattern placement you prefer. I have a Brighton charm on mine to help identify my front side at a glance. I always keep my phone in front and keys in back. Here's mine in Midnight Blues.

I got it with my 40% off Bday coupon last month. I've been carrying it almost exclusively since then. The colors go really well with my wardrobe and it's a nice break from my heavy leather handbags!

Liking the Fanfare giraffes in the new release last night. couldn't get on at midnight just ordered the clear beach cosmetic and whimsy luggage tag now. Hope the straw items stay for a while so I can put it on my wish list.
Did my first ebay order this weekend for VVB ditty bag, kind of anxious there will be no problems with seller.

I was in Vera yesterday with my mom. The straw clutches are adorable! I can't get this one out of my mind - and my husband said he'll get it for me today!!!

My mom got me an adorable pink straw makeup bag with an elephant on it for my birthday. :) I love elephants!

I'd like to use my birthday coupon on a great weekender duffle or travel bag ("The Weekender" itself), but I may wait to go to the outlets in Wrentham for an even better deal. Trying to decide on a pattern and it's tough! I'd also like a pretty beach towel.

Really loving the new prints!

Happy Birthday! The weekenders are great. I have one in Plum Crazy and one in BAroque. It pairs great with the duffels if you need to carry more. I paid retail for the Plum Crazy but got the Baroque at an outlet in January for around $40 I believe. So you can definitely save a ton at the outlets.

Did you get it yet? I buy frequently on ebay and have very little trouble with sellers. I just picked up a couple ditty bags but haven't used them yet. I plan to mainly use them for wet swim suits and shoes.

Hi HarliRexx - yes I just received the VB ditty in excellent condition but placement of pattern could be better. Since it is retired I really don't have an option of choosing.
On the OhMyVera blog there is a listing of patterns and designs scheduled for retirement in May so I will definitely be picking up more things. As a latecomer VB addict, just discovered TuttiFrutti so hope to get pieces then.

Oh I'd love to see a list but I can't seem to find it. Can you share a link?

As far as the colors being retired my guesses would be Venetian Paisley, Olivia Pink, Bittersweet, and maybe Ribbons since Petal Paisley is the new breast cancer awareness pattern. But sounds like TuttiFrutti is on the chopping block?

Ooh, I love that one! Nice choice! Hmm....I may need a Weekender. Looks like it holds quite a bit! Do you find it easier to carry than a duffle?

p.s. Thanks for the compliment on my clutch! I can't wait to get a chance to use it. I love the structure of the wooden frame handle.
