I have the JW Pei camera bag. It looks nice but the quality of the leather and the chain as not as good as Angela Roi, but it’s also more affordable ofcourse. But some other bags from JW Pei look more sturdy than my canera bag so if you see a nice one go for it, they have sale and discount codes a lot so you can wait for that if you want!

Just to clarify - did you get the camera bag from JW Pei or Friday by JW Pei? The JW Pei bags are priced similarly to Angela Roi and and marketed as more luxe and eco-friendly, but Friday by JW Pei bags are typically less than $100.

It was from JW Pei because Friday by JW wasn’t launched then. Right now its on the friday site so good to know the quality of the normal site is better
Holy Moly! I don't even search out vegan bags, but these are gorgeous! I might be tempted. Any rec ent reviews of your purchases, folks?
I can certainly vouch for Von Holzhausen. I discovered hert over two years ago when she was using leather. The leather was the most lightweight, softest, yummy leather ever. I still have a black shoulder bag in leather. When they discontinued it and went with what they called Technik "leather" I was skeptical. But I bought the shopper and was quite pleased with it. It ended up being too big, so my daughter has it. Then I got the white clutch and I love it. I carry it all of the time. It holds tons! Now I am waiting on the medium shopper. So if you are into vegan bags, you may want to try VH. If it does not work out, you can send it back. I sent one back and had no problem getting a refund.
How does it hold up? I want to try vegan bags but I'm so afraid they won't hold up to daily use.
My friend, TotinScience on here, has used her shopper hard for nearly two years. Maybe she will chime in. She posted some pics of it in the thread “Von Holzhausen bags - opinions from those who already own” #50 post. It looks like new to me? I have so many bags that I have not used my VH’s , or any of them actually, to see how they are going to wear, lol. I change them out daily. I found this.
