The base is wide so you can actually fit quite a bit. It does not fit my long card holder so that's a bit of a bummer for me. Now colorwise, I love yellow but Mimosa in Foulonne leather did not look as nice as I will like it to be. Turtledove, on the other hand is a gorgeous neutral. It is not too grey. Just right. In terms of the smaller zippered crossbody, I can fit my long card holder, a key pouch, a LC card case, my phone and tissues. If I need to slip in a small hand sanitizer, it should still fit without bulking. For the larger size, I can fit all my essentials. I like to carry my bags both crossbody and on the shoulder. I have a very short upper body so I prefer to punch more holes so that I can wear it higher as a shoulder bag. The original hole settings as a crossbody bag works for me. For reference, I'm 5"10.

How do you like the Large size ? I ADORE the small one for size, I just wish it would fit more essentials.

The large was too big for me. I am bottom heavy and it was not flattering against my hips when I wear it crossbody. I rehomed it brand new. I bought it in the spur of a moment as I really like the taupe and was thinking that a neutral in the larger size will "blend" better with outfits. I chose the red for the small and it is a terrific true red. I've rehomed it as I found I had to play tetris with it. I wish it has more depth as I prefer to be able to take things out easily and not having to get through other things just to get to one item.

That said, if you can order the large with free return policy, you might like how it looks on you? After all, opinions are subjective and you might not have the concerns I have.

Yes, i feel this way exactly about the small !! Like Tetris !!! It is such a gorgeous bag, but I already find that I have to move things from side to side even when there is not many things in it LOL.
