May I ask, should I be finding a way to call individual stores about these waitlists (with deposits)?
I attempted to order a Frivole necklace the other day on the phone to match my new earrings, but the VCA agent I spoke with only offered to make me a wishlist, which she said was not guaranteed/required no deposit. It felt rather unhelpful consider that she couldn't even confirm that they'd ever call me to make the purchase.
I'm assuming that individual stores might have better policies than their customer service number, though I'm not sure any SA would offer me many favors considering my purchase history is entirely through their online store (I don't live near a physical store).
Do you all think that there is a shot at me being put on a "real" list for the pendant (if I find a store SA), or should I just not bother and keep my eyes open on the pre-loved market? I have very little patience for the games that some luxury brands like to play.

I'd prefer to buy directly through VCA to guarantee the authenticity of my pieces, but I also don't want to jump through hoops for pieces as expensive as this, if that makes sense. I'm more than happy to wait for my turn. I just want to ensure that I get a turn.
