VCA - SA Recommendations/Requests Thread

Hello, I am looking for a SA in one of the corporate Vegas stores that is willing to assist clients that mostly shop remotely (Washington state). I am certainly not the biggest spender, but I have been and see myself to consistently buy a few non-high-jewelry pieces each year down the road. I am experiencing potentially being ghosted by my current one (in Vegas). Thank you very much!

Hi OP, the last time I shopped at the VCA boutique, I simply called ahead of time and made an appointment. The SA who was scheduled texted me prior to the appointment and was very responsive.
Perhaps try making an appointment and then you will be given an SA to work with? Hope that helps!

I was just at both Vancouver boutiques and essentially had the same experience you did. Both boutiques knew I was coming in from another city and yeah - night and day for sure! Cartier was amazing. VCA very disinterested, not very helpful. Not their fault but my visit was also affected by lack of stock - I couldn't try on the creations I had called ahead about. To be honest I think I would just order on line from VCA if I decide to purchase anything.

Guess from your post you also opted for Cartier then. You have to love the piece you are looking for and
having great customer service does help!
The first time I was at Cartier they presented themselves very kind, complimentary chocolates after I had said no thank you to coffee as I had just had lunch and even then I couldn’t eat the chocolates but didn’t want to leave behind lol so I asked if they could pack them for me which they did. It’s just the little things…their smile, patience when you are there and you have no idea if you are buying or not.

I live in Oregon and was connected to a SA via their website. It’s worked well for me over the years. When the online boutique does not have something you are looking for, they will connect you with a physical boutique.

Which Vegas location is ghosting you? I have purchased with the Bellagio one twice, hence asking!

Thanks so much for responding! My current SA works at the Crystal's location, and it's just very unusual to me that I am not getting a response all of a sudden. I am obviously not the most frequent shopper, but I've always thought we have a good relationship. I am planning to visit Vegas in mid October, so I will definitely visit the Crystal's store to hopefully get some clarification, whether it's because she has been on vacation or even has left VCA recently (?) I'm just doing my homework here ahead in case I do need to search for a new SA

You are so welcome!! I know it can be a little complicated when we don’t have a “home” store in the PNW :noworry:.

I thought my main SA from the e-boutique ghosted me for a bit, so I ended up making a purchase with the Bellagio SA she previously connected me to.
It turned out, my main SA was just on vacation for awhile .

When I reached out to the Bellagio SA around this time a year ago, she was also unresponsive. I think it may be because of all the craziness around the HP?
Since you are going to LV next month, I recommend visiting the Bellagio location as well. You may “click” with someone there. If you want, I can PM you my Bellagio’s SA information.

Overall, having a SA with the online boutique has been wonderful. Although mine just started working at a physical location, so it will be interesting to see if anything changes over time...

It was a scouting trip - deciding between pavé Love and single row perlée - but the VCA boutique certainly was not at all warm. Cartier also gave me gifts and chocolates, and were so friendly. I have never seen the single row in person, despite visiting 2 boutiques this year. I am certainly swayed to Cartier given my experience in the Vancouver boutiques.

Hello everyone,

For the Vancouverites here…does anyone have an SA they can refer me to?

Last time I was in was to decide between Cartier and a VCA bracelet. Well I went in first into Cartier and then into VCA. Night and day service!!!

Needless to say I opted for Cartier. Their customer service just sold me even though I had gone just to try on and had mentioned to the SA I was just looking and not ready to buy.

VCA was the complete opposite. The SA seemed not interested in showing me the pieces and somewhat cold. Anyhow, I want to go back in and try a few of their pieces but thought I’d ask here if there was anyone that could suggest an SA.

Thanks everyone!
This happened to me several years ago in Vancouver:

Prior to having a purchase history at Cartier, I walked in with some questions. SA was very kind, helpful, let me try things on and etc. Was offered drinks but politely declined.

I went to VCA after already having a purchase history with them, wearing some of my VCA pieces, yet the SA simply didn’t seem interested in helping me or answering questions. I felt the “I’m better than you” kind of energy from her . It was like she was annoyed I even walked in! I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

I am really hoping that she is just on a long vacation... I consider myself a very loyal client in general, meaning I'd still shop with Vegas SAs remotely even if we happen to open a local boutique down the road. But if it indeed turns out I am being ignored this whole time, I may just have to look for a different SA and have no hard feelings shopping locally if VCA opens its doors to Washington state once again. I hope your Bellagio SA continues to assist you with great service!! The shopping experience makes such a big difference, especially in luxury shopping.
