Yay, the lapis pendant is here! Can you tell I love blue? It’s a great, deep blue with tiny specks of gold. Glad I was able to get ahold of it and will wear throughout the summer.

What a beautiful piece! I love wearing mine. It’s just the right pop of blue that is complimented by the YG.

I agree. Love the gold flecks. It adds depth and interest to the stone. Unfortunately, this has none.

I usually only wear single pendant….sometimes with earrings. Casual lifestyle with casual wear! I didn’t get the matching turquoise perlee earrings. They are lovely, but they looked too “formal” on me. I ordered turquoise sweet alhambra earrings instead. I paid 1/3 and don’t know when I can get them.

It is in the same range as Turquoise. The US website lists the Turquoise as $2,840, the Malachite as $2,070 and the Carnelian as $2,000. The Lapis was $2,610 in early May. It may have gone up with the recent price increase.

I just purchased the lapis necklace a few weeks ago, retail price was $2,690.00.

I have the VCA anniversary Lapis and my first comment to my SA was that I didn't see any gold flecks. She told me VCA tries to make sure there are none! Kind of sad to me, but she said the same, that the higher quality shouldn't have flecks.

This is interesting, because their older-lapis necklaces (regular line like the Alhambra, which is seen in real life all had lots of beautiful-gold flecks. I feel that their recent lapis does not. I personally feel lapis with no gold flecks is boring and flat, but on this Perlee piece OP I feel the pendant looks gorgeous and you should keep it.
