I tried on the 20-motif chalcedony at the boutique and it came home with me. This photo shows when I tried it on with another WG necklace. Now I am wondering what to pair with it on my right wrist: the matching 5-motif bracelet, or the WG signature bangle (I don’t have either yet)? I plan to wear this necklace with diamond VA earrings and the lotus ring on my left hand. Will adding something to my right wrist be too much? Would like to hear your lovely ladies’ opinions. Thanks!

@changsu3141 congrats on this beauty! For me jewelry is all about having fun and your personal comfort level. You can wear as much or as less depending on your individual comfort level. I have seen people wear tons of jewelry, mixing and matching effortlessly and then I see some wear tons of jewelry and look outright awkward.

At least I don’t think wearing a bracelet on the right wrist would look too much! It would actually tie in the entire look together. My vote for the matching chalcedony 5-motif FIRST and then later add the signature bracelet? you know eventually you will want both bracelets

There are days I love to mix and match and then days I just want to be 100% matchy-matchy. Having both bracelets eventually will give you those options.

Let us know what you decide. Good news is you can’t go wrong either way!

First, the WG Chalcedony looks beautiful on you. Understated elegance. Second, if I were wearing this necklace I would stick with three pieces: the diamond earrings, 20-motif necklace and Lotus Ring (!!! so amazing), of the diamond earrings, 20-motif necklace and a VCA WG bangle/bracelet. The Lotus Ring makes such a statement that I would be concerned about a bracelet, particularly the 5-motif Chalcedony, competing for attention. Coco Chanel is quoted as saying about jewelry, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off.” And I learned from my mother, who was an artist, that odd numbers create visual interest and are more effective at capturing your gaze. Third and finally, with everything I have said it is all about what pleases your eye. I suggest wearing the three pieces you have to the store and trying on several bracelets to see what works for you. Above all—enjoy!

You are such an enabler! Your beautiful MOD photos have inspired me so much. I indeed want both a bracelet and a bangle in WG eventually! Adding the matching 5-motif bracelet will allow me to link the necklace and the bracelet to create a long doubled look, which I like better compared to the 20-motif doubled alone. So buying the matching bracelet first actually makes lots of sense.

Such a sweet agony to have! lol. I will let you know when I make up my mind.

Thank you for the compliment! Your mother is quite the intelligent artist, and her words really resonate with me. The lotus ring is such a striking piece that I always make sure to choose my other jewelry carefully to avoid looking “trying too hard." I'll take your advice and wear all three pieces together to the boutique to see how they look as a final ensemble. I don't think I'll be making another purchase anytime soon, but when I do, I'll be sure to report back here. It is very fun to take time and think about the next purchases.

5 motif guilloche/pave today.
So much sparkle!

Gorgeous! Congratulations on adding this to your collection. It looks great on you.

I have a feeling you would like to have the matching 5 motif bracelet at some point. Rather than the signature, though, maybe also try on the Perlee clover bangle in WG at some point and see which one you like better? That bracelet would quietly echo the Alhambra shape but in a different way than your 20 motif necklace or a 5 motif bracelet does. Whether you like the signature best or want to consider the Perlee clover, I like that idea either way.

Love the Perlee but your sweetheart steals the show!
Thank you! He is as sweet as he is handsome. :)

Wow Muffin has the most impressive beautiful eyes! 💕❤️
Thank you so much!
