Van Cleef and Arpels on Men

I say go for it if you want! I love the JUC and Ecrou on men. Is your current stack YG, because the YG Ecrou would look gorgeous with that stack. If you don’t do the Ecrou, the onyx, then Guilloche. However, I may suggest Guilloche over the onyx, depending on your style. I think that was absolutely no help, lol! Can you post a photo of your current stack, and when you go to Harrods to try on the options?

I love seeing the Alhambra on men in a stack. Good luck, you won’t go wrong with any of the 3!

I went to VCA at Harrods today and tried on the onyx, carnelian and blue agate. They ran out of Guilloché unfortunately (the entire UK, can you believe it?). However, despite that, I went with the Onyx in the end because it blends in with my vibe. Also went to Cartier to try on the Ecrou and changed my Trinity Cord to black. Ecrou is such a gorgeous piece but today it did not do it for me. And now that my trinity cord is black, I absolutely loved it all of them on my wrist. Again thanks for everyone’s help. Have a good day.

Congrats on your purchase! I just know you will love it. My fiancé has two Alhambra bracelets and he loves them. Probably more than his Cartier pieces. He also has the Ecrou bracelet. He is a very masculine man about 6’3” and not for one second did he question if they were too feminine for him, he’s very confident and knows what he likes. He gets the most wear out of his Onyx bracelet cause it’s more casual than the malachite pave. He literally owns more jewelry than me lol. I’ll post of pic for your future stack inspo :graucho: he doesn’t wear them all at once he just wanted to take a picture with them all on one arm.

Love the onyx on you! That was going to be my vote if your stack was YG, and it looks awesome matched with your black trinity cord.

I'm glad you took the plunge and went for it. The onyx is absolutely beautiful!

I own the sweet 6-motif hammered RG bracelet, and to me, it's all about the confidence of rocking a piece. At the end of the day, the idea of masculine/feminine aesthetics should not be what determines whether you want to wear it or not. If you love it, wear it.

Enjoy your new bracelet in good health!

I happen to really like the look on men, but I think it requires a certain confidence to pull it off. Also, the type of stone matters when judging whether or not the look is for you. I was with two dear male friends recently and one really rocked tiger's eye beautifully, while the other looked fantastic in the blue agate. Surprisingly, onyx was nice, but a little harsh on both of them.... If you like the look, I say go for it!
