Valentino Medium Tote Bag Opinions

Hi,
I am about to get my first ever Valentino Medium Tote Bag tomorrow!
It may be a bit late, but what are your thoughts on this while carrying it? Is it easy to get in and out of? Do the spikes hurt? How heavy is the bag? Would you recommend it for travel/a full day of shopping?

I'm getting the beige color, and I want to know if there any sort of color transfer here with jeans/dark clothes.

Unfortunately, it's not for me. I didn't like the way it looked on me when worn. I exchanged it for a YSL Cabas small in blue and I love it.
