I've used her within this month and I'm happy. I was unaware of the TrustPilot reviews so I looked at them--I find it interesting that they come from people who have had their bags deemed inauthentic. The fake croc story is a little wild and I'd definitely have to reserve judgment before knowing all the facts there. It doesn't move the needle in terms of my opinion of her and her services, which are both high.

I'm not surprised by those who have newer bags and had them deemed fake, even if they're in fact authentic. It's really, really hard to distinguish the difference between super fakes fresh out of the box with real bags. Eventually the hardware on super fakes age poorly and it's a reasonable giveaway but not before then. I prefer vintage for this reason (among many). Newer bags by their nature also make it harder to compare with other bags in terms of date stamps, etc. A BNIB pristine bag is undoubtedly hardest to authenticate and it wouldn't surprise me if Bababebi was erring on the side of caution with some of those, especially if the user isn't clear about the provenance of the bag.

But I do ultimately trust Bababebi's judgment, particularly for older bags, because she has such an extensive photo database of other bags from which to draw. This is especially important for hardware and date stamps.

Most of the negative reviews are using the same (odd) syntax and have similar or identical complaints. Sounds to me like several of the reviews are one very upset person. There's also someone saying bababebi is a reseller, which AFAIK she has never been.
My experiences have been uniformly great and professional.

It is true that there are a lot of superfakes out there, and people do not like to hear that their bag is counterfeit.

Yeah, the reviews sounds very odd - each person bought the bag in H boutique and yet was seeking bababebi's authentication. I had 3 bags authenticated by her, 2 of which went to Hermes spa and returned fine  so had good experience overall. However, my SA once told me that the newer bags are really hard to authenticate and he would advise me to buy older ones from the secondary market.

I just used bababebi for my Kelly. Super easy and fast service. Got my Certificate of authenticity in less than 24 hours. I am wondering about one thing, I see that I am not allowed to use this cerificate if I down the line want to sell my bag, and I can’t find any option for a certificate I can use for resale. Anyone know? TIA

You may provide a bababebi certificate to assist you to resell. There is no restriction to prevent that.
