UPS stole my returned bag and LV refused to help

I’m confused? I thought she did box it up herself. If UPS is packaging it wouldn’t she be right there to see it boxed up?
lol me too now in another post someone said that they had it boxed up in store and videoed and then looks like OP said she should have done that too. So maybe I misunderstood. However honestly anyone letting UPS box their LV return is insane to me. Theft and fraud occurs all the time with mail and packages so I would never have someone box up my item of value video or not it can be stolen after you leave.

I did box it up myself in my residence and dropped off the package at a UPS store. Someone on this thread said they usually pay UPS a fee to box it for them and would videoed the whole process as evidence. And I said in hindsight I should have done that cuz' at least I would have a video showing that the bag was in the package, sealed, boxed up with their prepaid label on it and LV would not be able to accuse me of theft. It may be a bad idea to some of you but it sounds like a good idea to me right about now because LV does not believe me and I have nothing to back me up other than a pic of the prepaid label, the UPS receipt of the drop off, the tracking dates that it was missing for 6 days and LV's word that the bag was swapped for another product. That's all I got.

That’s what I was thinking! It was worse to have UPS box it up and see what was in there….i would much rather do the drive and return in person…. Thankfully my UPS guys are awesome and I have had no issues…..

Hopefully this is the last return that you have to do! I hope everything gets resolved…you credit card company will get it resolved and I am sure that you will see your money back…..It sucks not to be believed and that LV has washed their hands of it….

As a matter of course, whenever I receive a package with a high value item,I film myself opening the box from two different directions.

If I return a high value item, I film myself packing everything up, including videoing the condition of the item from all angles, all accoutrements, and the final, finished sealed package, again from two vantage points.

That way, you’ve protected yourself inasmuch as possible.

That being said, I hope you get your $ back.
