Hi. Can anyone let me know if Saks attaches the tags to handbags? An SA shared pictures of a handbag with me but I don't see the tag attached to the chain so I wanted to make sure this is ok. Wanted to make sure it doesn't mean that it's a used bag. Thanks!!

I think chanel boutiques at Saks are leased, so they would follow chanel US procedure which is to provide the tag (see this thread below)

since your concern, as per your post above, is that you want a pristine unhandled bag (not used), perhaps make that extremely clear to your SA. although I am not sure that a tag will prevent this, if I had this concern, I would tell my sA.
Does Chanel let you keep the price tag?
Just purchased a flap bag ( blue white floral fabric) from the boutique but when I got home and opened the box I noticed the SA cut off the price tag and didn't include it. I thought they want the tags attached incase you want to return it? Should I go back and ask for it? Seems like something I...

I spoke to an SA who said she removed the tag and kept it in the back pocket so that she can send me proper pictures.. she assured me it's not a returned bag, however it doesn't have the protective sticker on the CC any longer. Hmm..I guess I'll just have to trust her. When I've bought from a boutique, they also remove the tag and keep it in the pocket at time of sale.
Mine also did not have a protective sticker, and I am sure they just received shipment of that bag either that morning or the night before. I didn't bother asking the SA if it did not come with a sticker or if he just removed it as that didn't matter to me, the CC did not have any scratches anyway and I would have removed it as soon as I started using it. Maybe it matters to you more, but in this case I think it's safe to believe your SA.
I really hope it's not a returned piece and I'm taking their word for it. My mom actually checked it out in person and said the tissue inside looked crumpled. Also the SA just reattached the tag on the chain and said it's really easy to attach or remove. There is no way to be sure.
Terrible experience with SAKS. A wonderful SA out of state sent me very detailed photos of a bag y'day and everything about it looked perfect from the shine to the puffs and the interior looked amazing. She said she set it aside for me and since it is so hard to find, I asked my mom to pick it up as it's closer to her.I'd relax, not worry about it. Unless you see any issues if you purchase it, don't assume there will be any
A 4 hour drive took 6 hours back and forth due to traffic. The SA who sent me the photos y'day was off and the one who dealt with my mom swapped out the bag for a different one!! The pictures were of a pretty perfect bag in excellent condition and the one my mom received looks used or marked on the inside. I can also prove it because I noticed different serial #s (found a photo of a tag from the original photos) AND if I look close enough at the caviar grains in certain parts they are clearly different!! Why why why did they swap it out for no good reason! I was told they only had one piece so it wasn't even a concern!!
I'm beyond frustrated, mainly because I had my parents drive all this way!!
Here are some photos of the interior .. does it look used???? My main concern was the bag not be used because I've already had problems and both SA's assured me it's new. What are these marks then??
