Yes, my mom has also been following my journey lol. She was as excited for me and was so happy that she was able to be a part of the whole purchase experience. So it was a major letdown for her as well and a terrible first timer experience at Chanel. I'm trying my best not to let these SA's ruin the experience of the brand as a whole... actually I have a wonderful SA here in Dallas.. all the SA's in the Dallas boutique seem friendly actually, so I suppose they have a wonderful SM. They just don't get many classics and when they do they sell out immediately. And since I'm not a VIP or have a long standing relationship, I'm out of luck! I'll make sure to treat my folks very soon
That's good to hear that you have SA's at the local boutiques who are friendly and eager to help. Tbh I feel like many VIP's already own the small black CF's in either GHW and SHW, they like to get on the list for the seasonal bags from upcoming releases because each boutique only get like a few, like that iridescent green mini flap from 22A. You may not be in competition with the VIP's or established clients, but instead, the random walk in's asking for them. If you happen to be around any Chanel boutique whenever you're out running errands or on vacation, doesn't hurt to drop by and ask if they have it in stock. It's true that they prioritize in person clients over the ones inquiring the products over texts. Of course, only do it when it's convenient to you. Good luck

Happy to share that I received the best customer service ever at the Chanel in Bergdorf in NYC! Since I had to make a trip to the city to return this bag, my mom and I had some fun and checked out all the Chanel stores in midtown to check their stock. No luck at both Chanel standalones (they only had jumbos) or at Bloomingdale's. Oh and while I was at the flagship store, the SA took a look at the marks on the bag I was in the city to return and immediately advised me to return it to Saks. That was more than enough reassurance that it was a matter of quality control and not me being picky!

On the way to Saks, we stopped at BG and I was immediately welcomed by the nicest SA! She didn't think she had any classics in stock and then called someone to find out and she was told they just got shipments that morning! Both the SA and my mom got so excited, it was super sweet to see them both get so excited for me. I just felt like after all the hassle I've been through, the small arrived that morning and was just meant to be for me. It was brand spanking new out of the box and it's pretty perfect! It's not as puffy as I like, but hey I can live with that! The SA was not only excited for me to take it home but also gave me a hug on the way out! Truly the kindest experience I've had at Chanel and I made sure to tell her that! This SA more than made up for the less than satisfactory customer service in the past and now every time I look at my bag I feel nothing but positive vibes from this experience! If you're ever in NY, do check out the Chanel at BG! They had a really great selection of bags to choose from and even better customer service!! I noticed how patient the other SA's were with their clients who were taking a while to decide on their purchase. No one made them feel rushed in anyway. Anyways, my search is finally over and y'all won't have to read my complaints anymore lol!!

Glad you had a good experience and were able to get your dream bag! Chanel takes a lot of heat for poor customer service, but there are good SAs out there! It’s just a matter of finding one you click with.

Really?! Wow I guess I got really lucky then.
I got my dream bag and will probably not be dealing with anymore Chanel SA's for a long time lol. This was exhausting !
Yeah. I live here and BG is my least preferred spot.Still can't really beat the store for all the eye candy. But hey it's been a while due to covid and such, there's probably some new blood. Sounds like you found a really good one. Grab her up...lol.
