SO. I have a small update.

This saleswoman, who is not someone I am a huge fan of as I know I mentioned, might be the only one in this store worth a crap. She already knows what ring we're discussing to be made, that it's in plat, and how many stones. She doesn't know if we will get a timeline right away, she said we won't know til we decide exactly what we're doing. I think we need to know for sure if the ring I was expecting it to be will work at the width I want and the stone size I want. I told them I was ok with 1.5 or 2 point stones if necessary. I also need them to confirm if it can be done as low set as I prefer.

OMG are you crazy???? I'm sure you'll have another chance to take the Erica C there. That's is WAY too much driving in 110 degree weather in Wednesday rush hour. For realz!

well it won't be here today, which blows because tomorrow I doubt Ill make it there unless I can figure out a way to go at lunch, I have a non-cancellable appointment at 430, and I know I won't be done before 530 to make it that far over in time, I might try to see if theyll make an "appointment" for me at 630 though just to see if I can look before Friday after work. She just emailed me about tracking it and it not showing up yet, and UPS has it held in Kentucky due to "weather". I don't know where there is weather between here and Kentucky. But they've been holding packages on me a lot lately that they blame on "Weather". When the only weather is "hot".

Well, in their defense I have a paper order that's been in KY for a week that I paid $98 for overnight delivery on that I needed a full week ago for the same reason, "inclement weather".

So I just got back from seeing it. Other than the fact that it's WICKED TOO TALL from the finger, it's nice. They are sending me another style that's lower set before I make a decisin, but I won't see it til Tuesday for a combination of reasons, theirs and mine. So we'll see how that goes. I like this one, other than how tall it is.

I like the way this style shows off the taper of your engagement ring setting. You planning on investing in a spacer for this? I like the width of this wedding band much more than the other one you had.

Yea I do too. It's the same width as the plain band. I think the one we're seeing tuesday has the stones set a little differently, so hopefully the height works. But we'll see. I am HOPING that the way these are set I will not need a spacer.

Flyer never shipped it. So it's being overnighted today for tomorrow. Today was like the only real day I could get there so I now have to move serious mountains around tomorrow to get there after work. Gah.
