I purchased a mini pochette within the last 2 weeks (in store) and the date code is SF1178 so the 17th week of 2018 but where has it been for 8 months? The mini pochette are supposedly so hard to get but this one was made 8 months ago yet just now arriving in store in December 2018, I just don't get it.

Gotta admit that'd bother me too. What condition was it in when you got it? When I got my regular PA it was "allegedly" sitting at their warehouse for 2 months before they shipped it to the store for me. I didn't make a fuss as my general rule is a bag that's been made over a month ago would deem to be unacceptable; however due to it being an unicorn and after hearing rumors that turned out to be true about LV changing up their service policies i.e. no more waiting lists; I decided against another return.
8 months is a looooong time to idly sit at a warehouse or wherever..is it in brand new condition...it's up to you what you wanna do..

It appears completely brand new and checked it over and over and over. No odor, stains and the vachetta tab does not have a hint of color to it, still in original condition.

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if the Pochette accessories NM in Damier Azur is still available and if it’s worth stalking the site. Did anyone score one from the LV website? Do you all think it’s worth stalking the LV website or should I go for something else?

I would also call customer service.

Thank you so much. I will keep stalking.
Although stalking pays off, I have yet to see the PA in DA; however a member here received hers by stalking. Come to think of it I have never seen the PA in mono for months, until a couple of days ago. I snatched it right up without hesitation. Received it 2 days ago. It was made in France and the date code is the 45th week of this year.

I recommend trying to call CS daily, even a few times s day because sometimes you would get a rep that says it’s sold out, without even trying to look for it.

Good luck.

What does it matter when it was dated? To say a bag over a month old is unacceptable is laughable. If it is sold as new that's good enough for me, as long as it looks new. I wouldn't even think to check the date.
I don't believe anyone said it was unacceptable, at least I didn't, and you are correct as long as it's new and unused than the date it was produced isn't a big deal. The reason the date code for some of us was brought up is because some items are extremely hard to find, SA's in store, as well as CS reps online, are quick to tell you something is sold out and has been for months yet somehow, we as consumers, seen to find those very items whether it been in store or via an online purchase with date codes that are months old (in my case 8 months) so it's natural to question the "sold out" theory if items with long ago productions dates are still floating around for purchase. I hope this answers you question.

I wasn't referring to you. I should have used the quote function for the other poster.

I never believe the sold out rumour. You see it on here all the time, how SAs magically obtain items that are sold out.

Well to each their own! Might not matter to you and some others but there are the rest that do care about date codes and such. Some care about where their bag was made, some don't. Some care about shopping at boutiques only, some prefer online only, some couldn't care less about either, some are willing to pay ludicrous amounts for luxury whilst others can't fathom why anyone would spend that much on a freakin bag...it all boils down to PREFERENCES really which we are all allowed to have! If I'm shelling out hundreds/thousands on an item I'd like to think that I can be finicky silly absurd call it whatever you like with my selections. I'd be more flexible on say a $30/40/50 item. Something might look as brand spankin new and be sold off as "new" doesn't always necessarily mean that it is in fact "new" (not just talking about luxury). However in this case it's up to the buyer's discretion since there's nothing seemingly wrong with the pochette and long as it serves it's purpose then there's no need to do anything else except enjoy it. ✌

I’m thinking of selling my brand new Pochette Accessoires DA. Got it last month and never been used. Kept in dust bag and in box. I was so happy to get it...but I know I probably won’t use it as much. I already have PA mono. Other than eBay...what’s another site I can sell LV stuff? Thanks

Are you still looking to sell your PA DA?
