I’ve ordered the Pochette Accessoires in monogram last week and the SA told me that my order might not be completed, as the bag is most likely discontinued... My DE PA is possibly my most used item in my collection, I regret waiting so long to get the monogram

I bought my GM Neverfull in law January and mentioned to my SA the concern for the discontinuation of PA and he said it was just a “rumor on purse forum” and that it was not being discontinued, but the DE is no longer listed on the website so who knows. I have just one PA in multicolor and wish I could find both a DE and a DA version. I don’t like the weekender look.
This is very weird ! I’ve thought they’ve increased the price because the item was popular and it was all a rumor about it being discontinued...
The strangest thing is when I called the store earlier that same day to ask about the current price, a different SA answered and she told me that the bag is not available at the moment, but I can order it and it should take about two weeks to arrive.
This might be true, but on the German site it was still there on Sunday, because I checked availability daily.
I called the 800 last week and they said it's not discontinued just out of stock. So you just have to be patient. But then again she told me the agendas were sold out and to walk into a store to get on the wait list which I did. To which the SA replied "Why? I have one right here."So apparently LV people know nothing. Don't pay more than retail though. Let it sit there unsold. It sends a message to fashionphile that we're not idiots to be taken advantage of.
They had two on the site last week and they were sold. Some people just want what they want, and they're willing to pay extra.
Even ebay sellers are listing for over retail. So it's just a matter of how much over retail one is willing to pay, because it's pretty difficult to find pre-loved in good condition for under retail.

Oddly enough, I called today and the girl I spoke to found one in NJ. She transferred me over to them and they accepted a phone order. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone doesn't forget to take mine out and hold it from someone else buying it...but assuming my luck kicked in, I finally got one!!!
Maybe they increased the price despite discontinuing it just to squeeze a bit more money out of the left over stock? 
I'm excited to see what the pochette weekend has to offer, but it's real sad to see the iconic PA go...
... if it IS getting discontinued, that is. Sometimes I really wished the SAs and staff were uniformly updated about stuff like this instead of leading clients on a wild goose chase.

Good lord. It seems like every SA is saying different things. It's hard to know what is the truth and what is fiction.
Just got back from the store with a Mini PA in tow.
I was looking for one last weekend but they were out of stock. So I called client services today to inquire about placing an order or what else I could do. Low and behold they told me the location I shop at had them in stock!
