Just happened to check the US site and it was available, I quickly purchased it! I've been trying to get the mono forever!

Congratulations. I picked up a azur a few days ago on the website, now just waiting for it to get here. Scheduled Monday but I will be at work so hopefully Wed. So keep stalking the website everyone. Good luck.

If LV continues to move in this direction they may loose some very loyal customers. Personally, I felt that LV was a brand you could grow with, maybe a Speedy first, then various classic canvas pieces before one day venturing into Epi or Empreinte, then perhaps LE's and runway bags. These new styles are doing too much for me, I want to like them, but I just don't. At this rate the canvas bags will be just as much as Epi.

I totally agree about many of the new styles. I have found that after many years of buying LV I have most definitely gravitated back toward the tried and true classics. Love them and they suit my lifestyle.

Oh wow! That is awesome - congratulations!!

I am giving up until I get a call/e-mail from that list. In the meantime, i just bought a wallet. I wanted to update some of my SLG's (or I guess Canvas SG's?) and that's why I wanted the PA at this untimely moment. Will keep waiting :p

Hi guys, I've noticed in the last couple of reveals that they've changed the alignment of the canvas, instead of two rows of LV's it has one row of LV's in the middle.
Did you notice this right away? What do you think about this change?
I like it but I don't like it...
I wonder if all the new ones will be this way. If they made this change maybe it means this piece is not being discontinued? :confused1:

Yep, I agree. LV was always the fashion house I considered having a fair price. My SA told me that in her meeting she was told LV is eliminating the smaller pieces to compete with chanel and that ordering online in the future may even change. That placing orders online will need to be done through an SA. Every SA has something different to say about every topic and bag, it seems, so I hope this isn't true. But if they go this route and start implementing Chanel's style, I'm going to move away from the fashion house completely. LVs quality control has tanked over the past couple years so perhaps removing the more inexpensive pieces will help with that if they aren't dishing out sooo many pieces all the time. But only time will tell what the future holds for LV. Maybe their changes will turn out for the best and they'll have better quality control. Maybe they'll lose a lot of customers and hike up prices and/or release even more items with higher price points and all will work out well for them. I'm just glad I have the LV pieces I have and hope for the best with them haha. Their canvas line alone is going to make them a good competitor regardless of what direction they go. At the end of the day, they have options/variety that other fashion houses don't so they can probably get away with whatever they want, as unfortunate as that is for us buyers.

I'm just dismayed because some things I consider to be classics then they redesign them and they aren't necessarily even better. I've watched the classic Speedy change very little yet the price has increased more than $300. To me pochettes, almas, speedy, noes etc are classics. I truly hope they keep them. I was told yesterday that the reason LV phased out the Empreinte cosmetic case was that due to the leather softening it was deemed ineffective. I really wish they would've corrected the problem or perhaps made a new one. I think lines should be completely cohesive. I love some of the new colors the Empreinte Sarah comes in but I could never buy them because I would require a bag and cles that color too.

I did not notice this at first but now that you said it I noticed it too. I hope all the rumors were not just about a new alignment of the canvas on the piece. However, I do prefer the two rows with LV's over the single row... I will just have to see which one I get offered by my SA in the coming weeks.

Yes and for 1370. . .

As lovely as the strap is, I do wonder about functionality with this bag. I have a couple of the Twice bags but the compartments have their own top closures. This bag is very slender, and the twice is as well but not as slender. This one reminds me almost of the thin pouch in the neverfull (a little more giving of course) in that when you put items in it, will it bulge out awkwardly? I think they should have used canvas piping instead of vachetta too. The price point on it could be worth it if that strap is very comfortable, which it appears to be, but at the same time having the twice bags in empreinte that were just over $1,400, I'd feel like there's no comparison between the two to dish out the same amount almost for this new piece. I hate the constant hiking of prices the fashion houses make these days haha. But I get that where there's demand, they can get away it. They do have amazing variety- I have to give them that.
