Scarves "Upcycled" and DIY Scarves

I've been looking for an organizer/ bag liner for my Lindy 30.
And finally decided to D.I.Y. using my Marwari's PM dustbag. A perfect fit and no cutting involved.
Just folded the dustbag and inserted flexible semi stiff plastic on the 4 sides to withold the insert.
Only required few stitches to withhold the stuff together.

Such a creative idea! may I ask what kind of semi stiff plastic did you use? any pics of the plastic itself please? where could one purchase the plastic? thank you!

Thx. I just cut out the plastic cover from 1 of my old folder's cover..semi stiff super light plastic

Finally I've taken the pics of my silk pompons..here they go..

I can finally contribute to the DIY thread. I have been looking for the pompom charms at the H boutique since I saw a fellow TPFer revealed one.

Thanks for the inspiration Asherbirkel, I decided to use all the extra H ribbons. Had to sew the ribbons together and tried doing the monkey fist knot with help from YouTube Alas the ribbon was too flat, so I inserted a cord and it worked...

Yes! I made my sister a similar bracelet with the same three rings and a Blue Jean Courchevel strap. Very cute

Hope it's OK to revive this thread - couldn't find anywhere else to post...

I love my Tosca Marwari ... but sometimes the sholder strap is slightly restricting. I have Jypsiere as messenger but sometimes casual messenger needed. Love the Evelyne but the shape too similar & I love Tosca - so I paid £2.99 on eBay and....

Found the narrow leather simple tan belt (made extra hole, cut short) and added on my Marwari

I'm 5'7 (170cm) - very happy bunny!

I bet 99.99% of the population won't even know it's H anyway, let alone it's modified (and I can use it as original sholder if I want to, no harm done!)

Just in case any Marwari lovers want to try!
